Chapter 8: Rule of Darkness

In the middle of the woods, a weird white light was zooming around the forest looking for something or someone as the light heard wood breaking a few feet away. The light flew to where the sound was coming from, when the light arrived it saw Jason breaking a tree down with his bare hands and saw a dark entity approaching and it consumed Jason.

In Jason's safe house, Melia lunged up from her sleep sweating like crazy, Melia next to her and saw Jason with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Hey, you finally woke up" Jason said "Yeah, I hope I didn't snore" Melia said "(Chuckles) Mel, I slept in the guest room" Jason said "Oh right, right!" Melia realized "When your father disappeared, you had this weird dream about me being consumed by darkness in he woods, you ran to the woods and saw me, revealed that the other me was a copy demon, and Rick was there and he saw you turn into your demi-angel form and this is how it was "Melia?" Jason said imitating Rick "Uhh" Jason said imitating Melia "You're a fucking angel!! Ahhh!" Jason said imitating Rick "So that's how it went" Jason said "So wait, when did you go to the woods?" Melia asked "After I went to the booth to do you a favor" Jason said "Wait...so I actually kissed you?" Melia asked "Yep" Jason said "Oh my god! Kill me now" Melia said "Relax, it was just a kiss" Jason said as Melia got up from the bed "What happened?" Melia said "Well, you got knocked unconscious and started bleeding all over your clothes" Jason said "So I guess the t-shirt means you saw me in my underwear?" Melia asked "Yep" Jason said "Oh god" Melia said as she looked down and looked at Jason "Oh my holy Jesus" Melia said as she used the curtain to cover her up. "Shorts please" Melia asked as Jason shook his head "Jason...JASON" Melia said "Ok fine" Jason said "I'll just get it myself" Melia said as they bumped into each other and fell on the floor, "Oh no" Melia said as she jumped up and put on the shorts, "Aren't you forgetting something?" Jason asked as Melia looked at him "My t-shirt" Jason said "Oh right" Melia said as she was putting up the shirt "MEL" Jason shouted laughing "I'm just kidding" Jason said laughing as Melia put the shirt down "Sorry, I didn't..." Melia said as Jason interrupted "Just get out dork" Jason said as Melia went downstairs.

Downstairs, Melia ran into Clay, Kara, and Elaine, "Melia!" Elaine and Kara shouted as they hugged her. "Hey guys, did Jason send you the address?" Melia asked "What? No, it took us weeks to find you" Kara said "What do you mean? Aren't we at Jason's house?" Melia asked "No, we checked there first and nothing" Clay said "Then where are we?" Melia asked "A safe house" Jason said while walking down the stairs. "What do you mean 'a safe house'?" Melia asked "Your father wants you and me for some reason and we have to figure out why he needs my powers" Jason said "Powers?!" Kara, Elaine, and Clay shouted in confusion "Oh shit" Jason said. "And we also have to find out how Melia lost her memory of the last three days" Jason said "What happens if we don't figure it out in time?" Clay asked "The whole world will be flooded with darkness" Melia said "That's right and there's this prophecy called the Rule of Darkness, it states that a demon dissappeared into the Earth's crust, rising again full of blood lust, the two victims that he will seek, are the ones who will make him tremble to his feet" Jason said "And what happens if you fail?" Elaine asked "Using our souls he can summon Reyukasin the lord of the demons" Jason said.
