Chapter 10: Secrets & Lies

                                                                               October 1, 2018 7:00 a.m.

                              "Still nothing?" Jason asked trying not to freak out "No" Melia said calmly "GOD DAMN IT!!" Jason shouted. "What in the world was that?"  Clay asked "Oh nothing, just the fact that Jason's freaking out for some dumb reason" Melia said annoyed, "(Hyperventalating) Dumb reason...DUMB REASON" Jason screamed "My father is hunting us, I still haven't recovered all my memories, and the last time i had a flashback, it said that every night the copy demon switched with you so we technically slept together as friends " Melia said as she quickly put her hand on her mouth."You...you...slept together...nice job dude" Clay said "What the hell, Clay!" Jason screamed "Guys" Melia mumbled "I don't feel so well" Melia said as she collapsed on the ground.

     Flashback 2 September 19 3:00 p.m.

            "How are you feeling?" The copy demon that's disguised as Jason said "Better, why did you overreact last night? About building a clone to distract me when you went somewhere, where did you go?" Melia said as the copy demon turned around and mumbled "Its okay, she'll forget about it soon" it said as he turned back around "I went to Caven's Peak to face The Trial of the Lynel".

                 October 1 8:00 a.m.

"(Gasps) (Wheeze), What the..." Melia said "Mels, what happened?" Jason asked "Same thing that happened last time I had a flashback, I passed out for a while" Melia said "No, I mean what happened in the flashback?" Jason asked "Oh, the copy demon said something about the Trial of the Lynel" Melia said as Jason had a shocked expression on his face, "Jase, are you okay?" Melia asked "Yeah, it's just my mom used to tell me stories about that, well until she...she..." Jason said "Hey, what happened to you last night? You just left without a trace" Clay said "I don't want to talk about it" Jason said as Breaking News played on the TV, "This just in, a College student going by the name of Danny Revera was brutally murdered last night, police say that the cause of death was by hand, they examined his neck but there wasn't one, his neck had been broken into a dozen pieces, only someone with an insane amount of strength could do this, so if you see anything suspicious please..." The Anchorwoman said as Melia turned off the TV and Jason went upstairs.
            October 1, 2018 9:00 a.m
       Jason's room door was locked, Melia, standing outside was waiting for him to open up and admit that he killed  Danny. (Knocking) "Jase, come on, just talk to me" Melia said, "What is there to talk about? You already know that I killed Danny, so what is there to talk about" Jason said "Why you did it? I know you wanted vengeance for your mother, but you're not a murderer" Melia said as Jason opened the door, let Melia in, then locked it again. "Now, what happened?" Melia asked "I don't know, it's like whenever I give into hate, anger, and regret, I become a completely different person, like I'm..." Jason said "Possessed?" Melia said "Yeah, then after everything I have no recollection of what I did, only little clues" Jason said "You know they're going to start searching for you, to interrogate you, you are his roommate after all" Melia said "Well, they are never going to find us, now let's go to that Trial that you mentioned" Jason said "Won't everyone see us?" Melia asked "How do you think I snuck out of SUC?" Jason asked "You went away on your motorcycle, wait, when did you get a motorcycle?" Melia asked "That's not the point, the point is that I left using a way they would never find out about" Jason said "............What?" Melia said "(sighs) We're going out the window" Jason said "Oh, let's go" Melia said as Jason opened the window and they left to Caven's Peak to face the Trial of the Lynel and little did they know, someone was waiting for them, waiting to end them.
