When I got back to Shane's dressing room, I couldn't do anything but smile. Even though we just talked it felt like something more. I really don't know how to explain what I just felt. You would think his head would be so big I wouldn't be able to fit in the same arena as him, but he was totally different!

"Earth to Ava!" I finally heard Maddy screaming at me

"Oh, sorry, what's up?" I tell her, but I can't really get my mind off of Mason!

"What has you in this mood! I don't think I've seen you this way in years!"

I couldn't help but giggle as I took the little piece of paper out of my back pocket and handed it to her.

"Oh my, whose number did you get? I am totally jealous!"

"Ohh I think you can wait until tonight! you will be totally shocked when you see him."

"You cannot do that to me! You know I'm not good with suspense! I though we told each other everything! That's what best friends do right?" I couldn't help but giggle at her little rant. She is very over dramatic!

"Well who would you want to go out with if you had a choice?" I ask knowing what she will say.

"Whoa, you didn't tell me you were going out! I'm not going to guess! You are going to tell me right now!"

"Alright, alright" I said as I began the story. When I said Mason's name her jaw completely dropped.

"So you're telling me that you're going to the after party with Mason Hunter." she says still in shock.

"Yes Madison, I am going to the after party with Mason Hunter."

She quickly snapped out of it. She grabbed my hand and quickly took us back to the bus. She ran straight to my closet.

"Maddy what are you doing? The concert isn't for another four hours." I asked. And sage turned around and looked like I had completely lost my mind.

"We have to make you extremely beautiful tonight. Ava, it's Mason Hunter!"

"I know. I can't believe it! I don't know what I'm gonna do?" I stated.

"What do you mean?" She awake as he pulls me into the bathroom.

"I'm not like you. I'm not outgoing. I don't know how to start a conversation. I'm kinda shy." I confessed. I wished I could be more like her, but the truth is I would never be.

"Ava, don't worry! You have already talked to him and it was obvious that he likes you. Just be yourself." She was right. I already had one conversation, and it was as easy as breathing. I should just focus on that.

"So sit back, relax, and before you know it you'll be beautiful as I am." I just roll my eyes.

"What ever you say, princess." I say as we turn on the music and listen to the amazing Big Bad World!
