•Garroth•

My eyelids grew heavier as the noises began to lull me to sleep. A sharp, abrupt whistle dragged me away from my dreams and I looked up to see the soccer players dispersing and a certain brunette walking my way, absentmindedly chatting with a blond-haired boy.

'Laurance, my dearest older brother, who the fuck is this?' I asked looking confused at the male in front of me.

'Y/N this is Garroth, the same one you've known for almost ten years.' He replied rolling his eyes at my lack of memory.

'Woah you got hot.' I blurted, my eyes still trained on him, 'Oh crap, don't tell Brian I said that.'

'Brian?' Garroth spoke in a smooth, deep voice, his blue eyes locked on mine.

'Her boyfriend. I still don't trust him.' Laurance answered, his frustration clear as he crosses his arms across his chest. I glared sharply at him before reverting my attention back to the Ro'Meave heir, his simple smile remained but his eyes shifted downwards in disappointment.

'Can I go home now Lauri?' I pleaded, hoping I'd be able to return to the salvation of sleep.

'Sorry Y/N, the team have a match tomorrow, so I have to go over the formations with Coach Arnold.' He apologised, sympathy dripping from his words.

'Hey Y/N if it's okay with you and Laurance I can drive you home.' The blond offered. I quickly looked at Laurance a faint smile tugging at my lips as he swiftly nodded.

'Right this way Milady.' He said jokingly and held out his arm for me. My smile widened as I locked arms with him and ventured out the front gates and towards a sapphire car. He opened the passenger door for me and I clambered in. When we both were in the car he drove off down the road, along a memorised root.

'Sorry for not remembering you at first Garroth.' I mumbled, embarrassed that I had forgotten one of my first friends.

'It's fine Y/N, until Laurance mentioned you earlier I didn't even realise you went to Phoenix Drop High.' He grinned.

'Oh my goodness! To think I'm that unnoticeable.' I joked with a gasp and the wipe of an invisible tear. When we both finished laughing I realised the car was parked, I looked towards my driveway to see Brian. His dark brown hair messily strewn about, his blue eyes glaring at Garroth, his lips contorted into a scowl and his grip tight on his motorbike helmet.

'Um I'll see you at school Garroth.' I murmured hastily getting out of the car and walking towards my enraged boyfriend.
