Jonathan stepped into the classroom. They were all separated into different classrooms for first hour. But Jonathan was very okay with it. He hadn't seen them for years, why should he care about them?
Jonathan looked around. Almost stopping when he saw his mother standing in the corner. He knew she was dead. But he saw her sometimes.
It was normal. For him.
He stepped further in, taking the first empty seat. Jonathan stretched, his arms going above his head as he groaned.
He played with a pencil inbetween his fingers, closing his eyes and leaning back into a chair. He knew security was standing right outside the doorway waiting for him to make a mistake.
So he wouldn't. At least he wouldn't yet. He wanted to have fun but the security needed to learn to loosen up before that happened.
There was still a few minutes until class started, which led Jon to being very close to falling asleep.
"Hey!" Jonathan continued to sit, as if he didn't hear the yelling voice.
He felt a push on his arm and opened his eyes, no one was allowed to touch him. He looked at the person and nearly groaned at him.
Red-eyed. They just annoy him now. So wrapped up in themselves they practically make the air around them insufferable.
Then suddenly the red-eyed froze. So did everyone else in the classroom. I smiled at the guy. "Yes?"
Over the years i've learned to push down my anger until I needed it. So this was just a small inconvenience.
The red-eyed looked like he was gonna throw up. "monsters..." Jonathan heard him whisper under his breath.
Suddenly, his own smile fell into what seemed to be a scowl.
"Oh? Is this your seat? Here, take it." Jonathan got up out of the seat, angrier then he had meant to and went to go sit in the only available seat now that people had filled out the classroom.
—Evan watched the whole thing go down, Craig grabbing the blues arm, the fear that filled his eyes, and he watched the blue-eyed get up and walk right over to the only seat left.
The one right next to him. Looks like Evan had a new science partner.
The blue-eyed leaned back into the chair. That alone sent shivers down Evans spine, but he didn't think they were bad ones. "W-What's your name?"
The blue eyes seemed to flicker towards him in surprise. Perhaps surprise that he would talk to him? But did he really have a reason to be scared?
The guy had a stone cold expression after a second. "Jonathan."
Some eyes, most eyes, were on him and Jonathan now. More of Jonathan. Some bewildered he had actually told him his name.
"Nice to meet you Jonathan, i'm Evan." Jonathan playful demeanor made him smile lightly.
In a way it brought Evan comfort.
Eventually class had ended, the whole time all Jonathan had done was lean back and play with some of the stuff on the table. The government had expressed them in a totally different way. Therefore Evan was expecting something crazier.
He got up out of his chair, barely making it out of the door before Craig practically bombarded him.
"How the hell can you just talk to him and not be fucking traumatized!"
Evan looked at Craig, clearly confused. "What do you mean?"
"That fucking blue! Evan you can't be talking to people like him your supposed to be the next great leader of the fucking world!" Craig threw his arms around wildly as he tried to explain to Evan how stupid he thought he was being.
"I really don't see what's so bad about them... have you seen them do anything bad since they got here." Evan shrugged as he stopped at his locker to get his stuff for his next hour.
"Did you see how he looked at me! He looked like he was gonna stab me with the fucking pencil! I heard he's killed multiple doctors in that lab!"
Evan furrowed his eyebrows as Craig walked him to second hour. "Doctors? That's what you call them..." Evan had never really thought of them that way.
They weren't helping the sick. They were testing on humans. Specific ones.
Craig looked at him as if he were insane. "Yes Evan, doctors! They're helping the mentally ill. Why don't you get this. You're going to change the world! That's what your eyes mean!"
Evan just rolled his eyes and walked into his second hour.

Jonathan smiled as he walked into the lunchroom. Something he hadn't been in since he was still in elementary.
It looked foreign to him.
He scanned the tables until he saw Bryce sitting alone, shoving a slice of pizza into his mouth for the first time in years.
He walked over and sat down right next to him. Bryce jumped, expecting Jonathan to do something.
But he just smiled and turned away. He just wasn't in the mood to mess with Bryce right now.
He decided he wasn't hungry either, choosing to draw on the table until he was told to stop.
He was just scribbling random words when he took a quick glance at the door and instantly stopped drawing. His eyes widening just a bit, which was unexpected from him.
"JONATHAN! What the hell did you do!" Jonathan stared at the wall, a bloody knife in his hands and a probably dead body next to him.
The only sign of life from Jonathan was the tears streaming down his cheeks and his heavy breathing.
He felt someone shake his right arm. He looked up and saw Ryan. His eyes widened the slightest. "I will get you back for this one day. I will fucking kill you for killing him." He stared at Ryan.
Ryan was shaking, sobbing, but had a murderous look in his eyes.
Ryan.
