The House, Part 4

You decide to hide in your room.

You run upstairs and hide in your room under your bed, but you feel it's not enough. You look around the room to see what you can find. You realise (realize) that you still have some scrap bits of hard, thin, wooden planks left over from the science fair in the corner of your room. You get those wooden planks and nail them to you window frame and your door frame to stop anything from getting in. 

You wait the 'thing outside' out for a while, but it is still there making noises. It sounded like a chainsaw! You peek through a crack in the planks. There is a short round man outside with a chainsaw and a hokey mask. Just then he takes off his mask to wipe the sweat away. It's your grandpa! You run back down stairs as fast as possible to let him in.
