Just One Chance

Chapter 1

Anya P.O.V
I hate living a life where all I do is worry about pleasing my father and I only try so hard because my dads love is everything to me because I have never met my mother. My father said she died many years ago and won't tell who she is. I'm not sure why but he just won't tell me. My thought gets pushed out of my mind because I hear someone behind me telling me to get to class. Sure enough it was my father. I turn the corner and a flash of a black robe was the last thing I before all my books fell and my knees met the ground I look up to see who bumped into me and sure enough it was Malfoy. He was quite cute but I didn't really think of him like that.
"Oh sorry Anya I didn't see you there let me help you out" Draco said, honestly I think that the only reason he tolerated me was because Snape was my dad. If I had to be honest I think Snape would prefer Draco over me any day. Then I heard a feet running towards us as me and Draco finished picking up the last of my papers.
"Anya are you okay do you need help" I turned to see Cedric standing by my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine I was just being a cluts!" I said as I laughed and thanked Draco. I looked at cedric as he was walking away and I couldn't help but imagine a life with him. He was so cute I couldn't help but turn bright red and smile. Cedric and I sort of have a thing, but were not officially boyfriend and girlfriend, yet... I had one more class and that was potions I didn't have it with Cedric because he was a grade above me but, I did have with the one the only... Harry Potter. People say that he likes me but I don't buy it because he is in love with ginny. But even with the thought of him liking me it was breathtaking. Even though I could never see him like that I still thought he was cute. Potions class was honestly one of my favorite classes not only was I succeeding in it I loved to watch Harry and my dad bump heads.
"Anya why are you late to your own fathers class" my dad asked sternly but playfully. I could tell my dad didn't care that much because he gave me a wink right after. People always thought that I was favored by him because I was his daughter.... which is probably true. He had only favored me and his house which was slytherin. Which The house I was not in.... I was in Hufflepuff.
After potions I was soon approached by harry. He came up to me immediately grabbing me and hugging me screaming "ANYA!!!" he put me down and asked me to follow him. As I followed him I looked over and saw my father giving me retched looks which made me queasy. I followed him until we reached the room of requirements. We stepped inside and he started talking about malfoy of course.
"I saw you right before potions talking to that sleazy little Malfoy, thank god cedric was there to save you, he might have killed you if you were there a second longer. But me I would never hurt you and that's why you should have me protect you."
"What do you mean?" I asked not really wanting to go through with it.;
"You should let me be the guy to hug you and kiss you every day, making sure that Malfoy never gets near a beauty like yourself, so will you be mine?" he asked kindly with a sickening look on his face.
"Ummmm..."
"Is that a good ummm, or.." he asked looking like he was gonna puke. Just then my phone rang... it was cedric, i got up off the couch immediately and screamed i'm going to see my best friend real quick but i'll let you know soon okay." already knowing the answer.
I made my way up the stairs to see draco standing there. He turned and saw me. Oh shit I thought. His grey blue eyes staring at me. I made my way up the stairs and was pleased to see cedric standing right beside him.
"Your chariot awaits my lady" cedric said making me blush.
"Where are we going" I asked
"To dinner, With me." cedric said making me blush even more, I had to stop the smile that was forcing its way on to my face. I had almost forgotten that Draco was right besides Cedric. I looked at him and he had a sad look on his face it was nothing like when I saw him before Cedric asked me on the date.
"Hey Draco you okay you seem like your sad" I asked him with a sympathetic look.
"Yeah I'm it's just that your taking my best friend away from me" he said giving me a his puppy eyes then pulling me into a side hug.
"Your best friends um I don't think so he is my best friend" I laughed and pulling them both into a hug.
"Okay you two stop fighting over me and Anya let's go have our dinner and I promise Draco I spend the rest of the night with you" Cedric said smiling and pulling me away from Draco's side. We walked for a while until I saw a blanket and a basket set up near a lake and under a tree.
"So Anya Snape how was your day" he said as soon as we sat down
"Well it was really good but you won't guess what happened to me" I said and he started to look intrigued like he wanted to know what happened.
"Well okay so after potions Harry came up to me and he hugged me and then told me to follow him... well we ended up in the room of the room of requirements and he sat me down and started going on and on about Draco but you know that's Harry for you. I laughed and well then he asked me out. I Said and Cedric's face went blank. It went silent for a while until he broke it.

"And what did you say to him did you say yes are you now dating the one and only Harry Potter!" he laughed.
"Well um that's when you called and I left and I said I would talk to him later about it but I'm going to say no because honestly he is cute but I don't know I don't see him like that" I sighed and Cedric face lit up with a smile.
"Well honestly that is a relief because that's why I asked you here today I Well I've been having these feelings about you and not bad feelings I've been have good ones but I don't wanna be your best friend anymore I wanna be more than that I want to call you mine Anya Snape because I love you" I looked at him and a huge smile on my face appeared. "Sooo what's your answer" he asked impatiently.
"Oh my gosh I honestly was hoping this would happen yess yess I'll be yours" I said then smashed my lips to his. The kiss deep end but then getting interrupted by none other that severus snape...
