I was walking around the garden, looking at the flowers and making sure they were healthy. It wasn't until one of my guards quickly ran towards me, out of breath. He was panting trying to catch his breath.

"Y/N, you have to leave this instant. Your parents sent me an alert and told me to carefully escort you to the human world. You'll be staying with the Hong family. They will protect you from now on." He informed me as I looked at him confused.

"What's the alert? Are my parents safe?" I asked him growing worried as well.

"There are intruders coming to get you.. I don't know about your parents.." He answered and started taking me to a portal.

"Please leave right now. It's not safe for you here." He says, trying his best to stay calm.

I nodded and looked at the palace once more before going into the portal, before I could even blink, I was in front of a house. A very lovely house that has a beautiful gate. The house was full of beautiful flowers and other types of plants.

"You must be Kim Y/N?" A woman asked me who was wearing a cleaner uniform as I nodded in response.

"Quickly, let's get you inside." She instructed and quickly led me inside the house.

When we got into the house, she turned to look at me with a sigh.

"You might have to wait for Mrs. and Mr. Hong. I'll bring their son down here for you." She spoke, turning around and heading up the stairs.

I decided to wait and look around for a bit, but then came upon a picture of 13 little boys. I carefully picked it up and examined it.

"She's in here." I heard the women's voice speak to someone.

I looked behind me and saw the son of Mr. And Mrs. Hong.

"I'm Hong Jisoo, but you can call me Joshua." He introduced himself shortly with smiled warmly.

"I'm Kim Y/N." I introduced with a smile too.

Silence fell next, it felt very awkward..

"I'm sorry.. I'm worried about my parents.." I spoke smiling awkwardly as he nodded.

"You seem interested in me and my friends." He spoke up, pointing at the picture that I was still holding in my hands.

"O-Oh." I mumbled and put it back where I picked it up from carefully.

"Would you like to meet them?" He questioned with the same smile.

"U-Uh.." Before I could give him a response, he answered for me.

"Yes? Let's go." He said grabbing my hand gently.

It felt weird to have an interaction with him. I've never been near a boy or girl around my age. His hands were warm and it made me feel secure in a certain way.

"Are you uncomfortable with me holding your hand? If you are.. then I won't do it." He asked as he so in realized that he grabbed my hand without my permission.

"Hyung!! What's u--" Me and Joshua looked at the person's voice to see 12 other guys.

"Don't assume things. This is Kim Y/N, she came from the vampire world. You guys should know the Kim vampires. She's their daughter. I haven't heard anything that's currently happening though." Joshua explained for them all as they some for them nodded or looked at us suspiciously.

"For a second I thought she was your girlfriend." A guy commented making some of the others nod in agreement.

"It's not like that Seungkwan." Joshua said shaking his head, with a slight smile.

"The others thought so too!" He protested, pouting like a child.

"Alright, introduce yourselves now." He said and they stood in a line.

One by one, they introduced themselves and I learned their names quite quickly.

"What are your powers?" Vernon asked me curiously.

"Uhmm... I can grow plants and I have speed.." I said and he nodded with a smile.

"At least you can grow plants with someone here." Vernon teased without telling me directly who he was talking about.

"Who..?" I asked confused.

"Who else?? Joshua of course!" Seungkwan answered.

"Stop teasing her guys." Joshua said and both of them ended up laughing together.

"Let's see who can do the best aegyo? Y/N you try to beat Woozi!" Mingyu smiled and Woozi glared at him deadly.

"I'm going to make sure that I hit you with a guitar this time." He said and Mingyu ran away.

"I'm too special to die!" Mingyu protested, joking around with Woozi.

"You never mess with Woozi. Even if your special." Wonwoo remarked making the others agree with laughter.

"Wait until I get my hands on Joshua's guitar." Woozi threatened Mingyu.

"Just do the aegyo already!" Mingyu said and came back, hiding behind Jeonghan.

"You really want a grave prepared just for you." Seungkwan said with a slight snicker as we all laughed at his comment.

"He's gonna kill me sooner or later anyway." Mingyu states with a cheeky smile and shrugged.

"Okay! Let's get started!" Seungkwan speaks as Woozi shoots him a glare.

"Might as well. You don't wanna be rude now would you..?" Seungkwan asked and Woozi gave up in annoyance.

"Loser has to pay for the food..!" Seungkwan said and everyone turned their attention towards us at the word 'food'.

"Get ready... Start!" Seungkwan yelled as Woozi started.

It was getting competitive until I finally gave up.

"Congratulations Woozi! You made a girl pay!" Seungkwan jokes, patting Woozi's back.

"What? You guys suggested the game and suggested that the loser pays for the food." Woozi protested glaring at Seungkwan again.

"It's okay. I'll pay. Let's go!" I interjected and smiled happily as they all cheered.

"Y/N don't go anywhere without me or my friends. I want you to stay by us so I know you're safe." Joshua said worriedly, as we were going to go out to eat.

"I know, thank you Joshua." I replied with a smile and he returned the smile.

"I should be the one thanking you." He states as we went out of his house and followed the others from behind.

"For what?" I asked confused.

"Just for being kind to everyone."
