"No. All this time he or she was after Joshua. Not you Y/N." Namjoon spoke appearing in front of us.

"I have to say everything here and leave as soon as possible. Since Joshua is blocking me from his communication. It wants Joshua to get you Y/N. You may not believe this, but it's true. He/she knows that you won't listen to him/her easily. So, he/she planned this all up, making it seem like he/she was after you. But he/she was after Joshua because he/she wanted something to make you listen to him/her. Now that you know this, I have to leave now. You guys may not know me and who it is, but I assure you. You don't want to know." Namjoon warned and disappeared.

"He blocked all of us. Y/N has he blocked you?" Mingyu asked.

"I don't know.." I mumbled.

"Try." He said concerned.

"Joshua? Are you safe?? Where are you??"

No response.

"Can you hear me..?"

"Don't come. Don't look for me. Just stay where you are and stay there."

He sounded panicked and in pain..?

"Are you okay??"

"I'm fine. But listen to me. Don't come looking for me and don't leave the manor. For your own safety."

"But-"

"Please. Just don't... I rather get hurt then have you get hurt. I'm--"

Suddenly, I was pushed down quickly before I could hear his last words. I looked up at the person who pushed me and saw The8 holding his arm. Blood..?

"Are you okay!?" Dokyeom shouted worriedly towards me and The8.

"I'm okay. I just got shot that's all." The8 lied about the pain.

I couldn't say anything due to the shock and guilt.

"Let's go." Mingyu said to The8 and he nodded.

"Don't feel guilty. Our priority is to keep you out of danger." The8 smiled warmly at me before he left with Mingyu to get himself treated.

"But--" I started, but got cut off.

"He's right. You're our priority from now on and you shouldn't feel bad if we get hurt protecting you." Hoshi smiled.

"We are willing to get hurt. For your safety and for our promise." Woozi smiled reassuringly.

Promise? What promise?

"You're wondering about our promise, aren't you?" Vernon asked.

"I am.." I answered.

"You'll figure it out soon." Seungcheol said with a smile.

Suddenly, there was a huge crash.

"Seungcheol!?" Mingyu shouted.

They all ran as Hoshi, Vernon, and Wonwoo stayed with me.

"Let's go. Now." Hoshi said and I quickly followed him.

We hid in the library, behind the bookshelves. Unexpectedly, Yugyeom appeared in front of us.

"You--" Wonwoo started, but Yugyeom looked at him telling him to stay quiet.

"Y/N. Don't let them get to you. You can't let them use you. I gave you their power because I know you can handle it better than I can. Whatever you do, don't ever trust it. Understand?" Yugyeom whispered quickly.

I nodded in response. As soon as he was gonna leave, the door opened with a loud crash.

"Get out of here now." Yugyeom said quickly.

"I'll give you all some time." He said rushing out of where we were hiding.

"What about the others?" Vernon asked Hoshi and Wonwoo.

"We have to leave. The others will be fine... I hope." Hoshi said as he teleported all of us somewhere.

I looked around our surroundings and saw trees.

"Where are we?" I asked Hoshi.

"Somewhere that they will never find us." He said with a sigh.

"You know this place? How?"
