THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Chapter 9

Taemin's POV

I was just so mad that i just left without even saying bye to my hyungs.

As i got inside my car, i immediately started it and called Eunji.

E : *panicks* Taemin? are you near? we just got a call from Naeun's mom. Their flight is in 10 minutes! hurry!!!
T : *worried* okay okay I'm on my way!
E : *hangs up*

I drove as fast as i could as soon as Eunji and i ended our call.

*AFTER A WHILE*

I finally arrived at their place.

i quickly ran towards the front door and i didn't even bother to knock or door bell, i just went inside.

E : *sees Taemin* okay good you're here Taemin
T : *panicks* what time did she leave? when did she leave? where did she go???
E : *panicks* I DON'T KNOW! Hayoung just suddenly told me she left with her mom.
T : *tries to calm down* okay okay wait.. did she leave anything here for you guys. any note? or what?
H : no she didn't. we didn't even know her mom and her were planning on leaving.
T : *confused* what?? you guys too?? then why does Key hyung know?
E : *confused* what? Key oppa knew???
Nm : oh so it was Key oppa she was talking to on the phone the other day
C : *interrupts* guys! we have not much time! we have to go now!
Everyone : *leaves*

Naeun's POV

My mom and i were at the airport. Our flight was in 5 minutes.

N's mom : don't worry, you'll be back here next year and you'll be able to be an idol again.
N : *ignores her mom*
N's mom : i know you're mad at me and your dad right now for doing this but trust me when i say you won't regret doing this.
N : *looks at her mom angrily* what did you just say? I won't regret this? what nonsense! you made me leave my boyfriend and you're taking  something i really love away from me! who does that???
N's mom : *tries to calm Naeun down* hon---
N : *angry* no mom! I don't want to hear you talking anymore. *gets up and sits somewhere else*

*IN THE PLANE*

I entered the plane looking very annoyed and mad at the same time. My mom and i didn't talk to each other in the plane.

Taemin's POV

We were on the airport when suddenly i received a message from Key hyung.

K : Taemin, I'm sorry for not telling you about Naeun leaving. I didn't want to see you hurt.

When i read his message, i completely ignored it and just closed my phone.

*AFTER A FEW MINUTES*

E : okay okay.. we're here!
Everyone else : okay let's go down now.

*IN THE AIRPORT*

C : guys, you wait out here, i will go check if they're still there
T : noona, i'll go with you
C : no Taemin, you wait here. i will go alone
T : *sighs* okay fine
C : *goes in*

*AFTER A FEW MINUTES*

C : *goes out frowning* guys. we're too late. they left already.
T : what? no! that can't be! *goes in*
E : *stops Taemin* no Taemin! we can't do anything anymore! she's gone now. there's nothing we can do.
