Isaac and the others were running at top speed through the forest following the trail of Amalia.
"I hope she's allright!" said Isaac.
"Don't worry, Isaac. I can't smell any blood. She wasn't wounded in any way" reassured him Diria.
"Still, I'm worried about her!"
"I can understand your worry, Isaac, but I'm sure if they wanted to harm her they would have killed Amalia as they ambushed her. Don't think about it too much. It only distracts you" spoke Harz.
They continued their journey through the forest until Diria noticed something.
"Thats weird..."
"What is it Diria?"
"Amalias smell gets weaker but that should be Impossible... unless... unless the harpies carried her from this point on... which is bad because I can't smell her scent if she'd been carried in the sky" explained Diria.
"What!? But you're the only one of us that could lead us to her! Try to do something, Diria, please!!!" Pleaded Isaac on his knees while shaking Diria.
"I-i can't! I'm sorry but if they picked her up she would have been to far up! Harpies fly higher than the highest trees and I can't even climb trees!"
Isaac was still shaking her and started to cry.
"We should take a break. It's getting late and we're all tired. Let's discuss this tomorrow" suggested Harz. "I'll have the first watch"
"I will ta-"
"I will take the second watch!" Stopped Isaac Diria.
"Are you sure? You're not in the best of conditions" asked Harz.
"I am sure" Isaac nodded.
"Allright then... Diria, you'll have the third watch" spoke Harz.
Then they all except Harz layed down on the ground and began to sleep.
After Harz's watch was done he woke Isaac.
"It's your turn, Isaac. Are you sure you can do it? You seem to be-"
"I'm fine! Go to sleep. Don't worry, I'll take care of myself!" growled Isaac with slight anger in his voice.
Harz layed down and began to sleep while Isaac was looking for possible threats in the Forest.
The tiredness and the fear for his wife made it hard for him to concentrate and despite his paranoia he didn't notice how a female lamia slowely slithered towards him.
Before he knew what was going on he was constricted by the snake and looked her in the eyes.
"You're a Lamia, aren't you! We're you part of the group that kidnapped Amalia!!!" growled Isaac with an unsettling amount of anger in his voice.
"I was indeed. You must be the husband of that woman considering how angry you are right now" said the Lamia with a hungry smile as her stomach growled. "I think I know what I'll do with you"
Meanwhile Diria started to smell the scent of the Lamia and woke up. She put Harz out of his sleep and together they ran to where the smell of the Lamia came from.
When they arrived at the place only the Lamia was there.
"Who are you and what did you do to Isaac!" shouted Diria.
"Take a wild guess" hissed the lamia with a smile.
"We need to get Isaac out of there before she digests him!" commanded Harz and drew his weapons.
Harz's weapons were called Iron claws. Two gloves with metallic claws which are sheathed on the shoulders.
Diria drew her dual blades and dashed towards the Lamia but the snake easily dodged her Attacks.
Even when Harz tried to surprise her with a storm of attacks the Lamia was still able to not get hit at all despite her size.
She slithered away in an attempt to escape them but they quickly catched up to her. Before they reached her however she was able to climb a tree with yellow wood.
Harz tried to climb the tree but his claws cut so easily through the wood that he immediately fell off again. Even when he tried to use his normal claws they were still too Sharp to climb the soft bark of the tree.
Not even the claws of Diria were blunt enough to climb.
"It's a Buri tree! Damn it!" yelled Harz and punched the tree.
"If you want to save your friend you should hurry up! I already feel him being digested inside me!" Laughed the Lamia.
"No way!"
"Yes indeed! I can feel him wiggle around in there. It tickles! It... It fiels kinda weird actually... This... This hurts! It hurts alot!!!!" suddenly the Lamia began to scream in pain and something appeared to be moving in a slicing motion inside her.
Suddenly the claws of Isaac pierced through the scales of the snakes lower body and cut it open like a butcher a fish's belly.
Then they both fell down the tree and as soon as they landed the Lukxs grabbed the Lamia by her throat and pressed her against the tree.
He drew his axe and threatened the heavily wounded wreck of a creature infront of him.
"YOU WILL TELL ME WHO YOU WORK FOR AND WHERE THE OTHERS BROUGHT AMALIA!!!" roared Isaac.
"T-they b-br-brought her to t-the Spea-Speartip Mountain, the h-home of th-the king of the h-harpies" stuttered the snake while holding back the tremendous pain.
"Who is the king of the harpies?" growled Isaac furious.
"Th-the new King's name is T-Tenebrus"
When Isaac heared that name he instantly remembered the black winged Angel. The one that crushed his Wedding, kidnapped his friends and held Viridia captive while the dark Crystal was exploding.
The amount of rage Isaac was feeling was unnatural. He punched the snake in the face and threw her to the ground. Then he took a handfull dirt and shoved it in her mouth and in the wound in her stomach before brutaly stepping on it and leaving her to die a slow and extremly painful death.
"Don't kill her! Let her die slow" growled Isaac furious when he noticed that Diria and Harz were about to put the snake out of her misery.
"But she doesn't deserve a death as painful as that!" tried Harz to convince Isaac.
"I said: let her die slow!" shouted Isaac angry.
Harz tried to calm him down again but Diria stopped him.
"I never saw Isaac this angry. This Tenebrus guy must be an old enemy of his. There is no reasoning with him. Don't worry about the Lamia. I rolled a few small Barrels with explosive powder next to her and made a trail with some of the powder in my hands. As soon as we're far enough away from her I'll ignite it. She will only have to endure the pain a little longer"
And only mere seconds after walking thurther a loud explosion echoed through the forest. Isaac turned around immediately and looked at the huge crater where the lamia once was.
"Didn't I say to let her die slow!" Growled Isaac.
"What's gotten into you, Isaac! You're not like you used to be!"
Suddenly the realisation hit Isaac. He acted like Tenebrus or Xoriphos would. He then fell on his knees crying.
"I'm so sorry!" He cried with tears in his eyes. "I acted like a Monster!"
"Whats done is done. Atleast now we know where they brought Amalia. The Speartip Mountain" spoke Harz as he pointed towards a high Mountain in the distance.
"It wont take us too long to get there but we should still hurry up if we want to save Amalia as quickly as possible" said Diria.
They helped Isaac off the ground and together they walked towards the Speartip Mountain, the home to the king of Harpies.
Tenebrus' lair...
