Meta Thanaton: Tears Of Darkness

Still there | Prologue Chapter

Many many years after the defeat of Xoriphos, In the depths of Pre-hell, a place that every soul that once was in it left, one was left behind.

This Soul was a dark angel tainted in rage. He was covered by a winged skeleton which had a shard of the dark heart in one of its shoulders.

The skeleton suddenly was filled with life and stood up shaking like a fish on land.

The wings of the skeleton fell off and its legs became more like the ones of a canine and it grew a tail.

Out of the bones grew flesh and skin and soon even fur.

The Immortal Soul of Tenebrus gained the mortal shell of a Sodu Kanis, a Humanoid wolf like creature which is said to have been in the multiverse before even the gods.

"W-what happened..." he coughed.

He felt a stinging pain in his new lungs and started to gasp for air.
His new body demanded oxigen which wasn't something the ruined dephts of Pre-hell could offer. Suddenly a Portal infront of him opened and he was sucked into a different universe.

When he woke up he found himself in a forest.
Infront of him stuck a wooden spear with a Metal blade on the tip and a chain on the other side in the ground.

He felt a burning Sensation in his right body and lunged towards the spear ripping it out of the ground.
He took a closer look at the Weapon. It was made out of a reddish colloured wood and the metal tip was shining in a bright silver. The Chain on its end was leading to a bracelet in which the chain seemed to come out of. Tenebrus pulled out the Chain as far as he could before putting the bracelet on.
It was multiple feet long and retracted automaticly back inside the bracelet.

Suddenly his veins pulsated on the right side of his face and throat in a bright purple as the pain grew and then he heared mumbling of a distant voice in his head.

"Find... Isaac..." commanded the voice with a twisted cry.

"Isaac... Who is..." suddenly all the memories were flooding back and an unsettling amount of hate began to grow in the former dark angel. "Isaac!!! He will pay for this!!! I will take everything he loves away from him!!! I will humiliate him!!! I will torture him!!! I wil- Argh!!!!" suddenly the pain in his face and shoulder grew once again.

"Find... Isaac..." growled the voice again.

"I-i understand..."

The Kanis went through the forest to search for his target when suddenly a group of harpies attacked him.

"Who do you think you are! You're on on our ground! I'm afraid we have no other choice but to teach you how we greet trespassers!" shouted one of the harpies.

The Harpies swooped down from the sky in an attempt to pick Tenebrus up but he was too fast for them.

The Kanis threw the spear at the Leader of the group and hit him in his leg.

The harpy began to scream in pain as the tip of the spear drilled its way into his flesh. Tenebrus pulled on the chain and dragged the Leader out of the sky.

When the harpy was on the ground Tenebrus pulled the spear out of its leg and rammed it into the harpy's chest next to its heart causing an extremly painful and slow death.

The other Harpies were staring in shock at their dying leader before fleeing in terror.

"Follow...them..." Growled the voice again.

Tenebrus did as the voice in his head said and followed the Harpies to a large cave High up on a Mountain.

Inside the cave were dozens of Harpies looking towards the Sodu Kanis who just entered their teritory.

A large male harpy with a feather crown now landed infront of Tenebrus and looked at him angry.

"Intruder, you're not on your turf. This forest is under my reign, the king of Harpies and Lamias. Leave now and your life will be spared" said the crowned harpy.

Tenebrus now also noticed the slithery Humanoids with a snake body all around him.
Lamias.

"I won't leave..." Growled Tenebrus.

"Then di-" as the king was about to finish his sentence the spear of Tenebrus pierced through his chest killing him on the spot.

The Lamias and Harpies suddenly went quiet and retreated into the Shadows of the large cave while maintaining eye contact with the murderer of their king.

Tenebrus had a wide evil grin on his face as he looked at the Lamias and Harpies.

"From now on I'll be your King. All of you will follow my command. No matter how deadly my wish is you'll grant it! And no matter who or what you are, lamia, harpy, female or male or even just a child, you will obey me until death!" Laughed Tenebrus.

"Good..." growled the voice in Tenebrus' head.
