Ch. 11 Redemption

Six long months of staying away from her. I swear it feels like a lifetime has gone by and the feeling of emptiness only increases with each passing day. But if I want her to be happy and to keep her safe fron harm then this is the best course of action that I can take. And another thing thats troubling me as well... it's Yui's birthday next week. I decided to make her somehing special, something that would make her shine with such happiness. I know that it may seem like I'm asking for forgiveness but all I want to do is to see her happy and smiling no matter what.

I decided to get to work, I phoned in an associate of my dads as he runs a massive jewlery corporation and I wanted to give her the best necklace or ring that I could find. He managed to get me in touch with a big ruby necklace with diamonds all along the chain, he told me the necklace was valued at over twenty million dollars. But he told me hed give it to me for free as he owed my dad a favor. This was perfect, now all I had to do was hand it off to her when nobody was around. If anyone else saw me they'd think Id gone soft and never let me live it down. But for her happiness I'd take that gamble.

I was headed over to Yui's room when I saw Kanato in there, it looked like he was trying to suck her blood, she was fighting back but she was in a whole lotta pain. "Now give me your blood mortal or would you rather I be even more dissappointed and beat you to death." "Kanato stop with this I don't want my blood sucked by you, theres only one person who can even get close to me." "Hahahahah, oh pleass do you really think Ayato would really come to your rescue he doesn't care for you he only cares for himself." "That's not true, I was angry with him and he may have mistreated me before but I know deep down he has a good heart and that he only has been staying away from me because I was mad with grief. Now I see that I want to stay by his side I want to have that devilish grin on his face whenever he sees me, I want to see those emerald eyes just looking at me and I want to be his and only his." Yui... I never knew, Im sorry but I'm gonna make this right. "Hey hysertic, back off from her shes mine yours truly didnt give you any permission to touch her." "Ayato.." "Hahaha, oh please this is just pathetic you want her blood so much fine take her she's a disobedient prey anyway." He threw her at me and I managed to catch her before she hit the wall, when I looked up Kanato was gone most likely ran away like the lunatic he is. "Are you alright Yui, he didnt hurt you did he." "Im fine Ayato, but why did you come for me I thought that you'd never wanted to be next to me." I just hugged her closer to my body and buried my face into her shoulder. "I never wanted to hurt you, Im so sorry for all thats happend to you... I'll never leave your side ever again." "Ayato... I want to stay by your side always and forever, I want to be only yours." "Yui..." Soon our bodies leaned togetherand we shared a kiss that had been soo long in the making yet we couldn't see it.
