Guadalupe's pov
After I talked to Ja'Quan I went and sat down next to my best friend Fabby. I sat down and said hey.
F- Someone looks happy.
G- It's just another normal day.
F- Oh really? Then you wouldn't mind if I go talk to Ja'Quan?
I immediately blushed. I wonder how she knew. Who the hell am I kidding, this girl knew me too well.
G- (whispering) How do you know?
F- You've been looking in his direction every 5 minutes.
G- He's cute I guess.
F- Aww does Lupe have a little crush?
I just blushed.
The bell rung which meant fourth period. Fourth and fifth period went by so fast. I had AFJROTC sixth period. I walk in and see Ja'Quan and he waves. I look at Fabby and she has a devilish smirk on her face. I just shrugged it off. I line up in formation and they do roll. They assign Ja'Quan to my flight, they also put him in my element. He stood behind me. When they called his name, he said here with a deep voice that just really made me melt inside. I was completely in thoughts that I didn't realize they called my name. Ja'Quan tapped me on the shoulder and I snapped out of it and said here. I turned around and mouthed "thank you".

I was looking for my school bus. I got on and I noticed an old friend from Lakeside (my old school). I pulled out my phone and texted her.
Ja'Quan- Wassup?
Sofia- Hey.
Ja'Quan- What school you go to?
Sofia- Forest Park why?
Ja'Quan- Because you go to the same school as me.
Sofia- Oh really?
Ja'Quan- Yeah.
Sofia- JB do we start off where we left off?
Ja'Quan- Lets talk about it in person.
