Jessica pov
I couldn't tell Ja'Quan the real reason why I woke up screaming. He would've probably came and cuddled with me and then we would've been caught by Sofia. Sofia was actually really nice. I expected her to try to fight me or some, but I guess not. I couldn't go to sleep so I got up and snuck onto the balcony.
I was sitting when I heard someone open up the door to the room. I got up ready to fight but sat back down when I saw Eric. He had clippers in one hand. I knew he was about to shave Ja'Quan's eyebrow. I decided since he wants to play a prank on my baby, I'll play one right back. I snuck up behind him with scissors in my hand. I started to cut a lot of bald spots into his hair. He got so scared he jumped on Ja'Quan.
Ja'Quan- WTF?!?! Eric get off of me!!!
Eric- Somebody's in your room!!!
Me- it's just me, Jessica.
I turned the light on. Ja'Quan started to laugh his but off.
Eric- What's so funny?
Ja'Quan- Nice haircut.
Eric- You're lucky I don't pull pranks on girls, or you'll be dead meat.
Ja'Quan- You won't lay a finger on her.
Ja'Quan was defending me. I started to blush. The moment came to an end when Sofia woke up.
Sofia- Santa?
Me- Sofia it's just us.
Sofia- Eric? Why are you in here?
Eric- Came to finish the job but this one over here gave me a haircut.
Me- That'll be $10.
Eric- Bye.
He walked out. Now it was just me and Sofia. Ja'Quan went to DaQuans room.
Me- Need anything?
Sofia- Umm no thank you.
Me- Well I'm right here if you need me. Good night.
Sofia- Night.
I cut the light off and laid back down. I couldn't find sleep anywhere. I tossed an turned all night. It was about 4 am. I decided to text Lauren.
Me- Lauren?!
Lauren- Yeah?! What's wrong?
Me- I can't sleep.
Lauren- I woke up for this?!?!
Me- I love you too. But seriously help me.
Lauren- Close your eyes and start to think.
Me- Ok goodnight.
I tried that and it didn't work. I noticed Ja'Quan hasn't returned. I guess he fell asleep over there. By the time sleep came to me, it was time to get up and get out on the road to find skate spots. I slept a little on the bus. I was sitting by myself. I heard Sofia and Shane talking. I ignored it and felt the seat next to me shift. I looked over to see a smiling Ja'Quan.
Me- Why so happy?
Ja'Quan- I beat Shane in skate am I got it all on film so.
Me- Do you like Bea Miller?
Ja'Quan- Yeah I know her. We met at a party Ally invited me too. She's really cool.
Me- You met Bea Miller and didn't tell me?!
Ja'Quan- Yeah. Why?
Me- She followed me on twitter out of the blue.
Ja'Quan- Cool. Aye I'll talk to you later alright? I have to go call someone who I haven't spoken to in a long time.
Me- Do your thing.
Ja'Quan pov
I went to the very back of the bus ignoring every body who called my name. My mind was set on hearing her voice. I called her and hoped shed pick up. She did after the second ring.
Her- Hello?
Me- Daisy!
Daisy- Ja'Quan?
Me- Yeah. How have you been?
With that said, I talked to Daisy until we reached a new spot.
Me- Hey I'll text you later?
Daisy- I can't wait.
I hung up and felt so much better. I hoped off the bus and skated the hell out if this spot. After our skate sesh, we dropped Sofia off at the airport.
Me- I'll see you later!
Sofia- No good bye kiss?
I gave her a quick peck and hugged her. I walked her all the way to her gate.
Me- Be safe. I lo... I'll see you later.
Sofia- O..kk? Love you
Me- Love you too.
I walked back to the bus and took my seat next to Jessica. I started to text Daisy. We texted like all night. I fell asleep and slept all the way to the next state.
