Lilly and Oak

Poppy was at home making dinner and waiting for her husband Branch to come home from a full day of kingly duties. Since Poppy was nine months pregnant Branch did her duties for her but as king. Her ears twitched when she heard the door open and closed and stopped what she was doing and turned her head to see her handsome blue husband and ran to hug him. "Branch!!!" She said as she hugged him. "Hey Poppy. How's my baby?" Branch said chuckling and kissed her cheek. "You mean me or the little one?" Poppy said as she rubbed her pregnant belly. Branch laughed. "I mean both." Poppy giggled when he said both "we're great." She said. Branch nodded and bent down to her belly. "Hey there little one, this is your daddy speaking I can't wait to meet you. We're going to do lots of fun things like sing and dance have parties, just you, me and your beautiful mommy." He said and kissed Poppy's tummy causing her to giggle. "Branch that tickles!!!" Poppy said laughing uncontrollably. "I know, that's why I did it." Branch said smirking at his wife. "Okay Okay you big goof ball dinner is ready." Poppy said gaining her breath back. Branch stood back up and rubbed his hands together. "Alright let's eat, I'm starving." He said and they made their way to the kitchen. After dinner they got ready for bed and went to sleep. In the middle of the night Poppy started to feel pain and woke up sweating and screaming. "Branch wake up!! I think the baby is coming!!!!!" She said nudging her husband to wake up. "I don't want another cupcake Poppy I want to be inside of you." Branch grumbly said in his sleep causing Poppy to blush at what he said and face palmed herself. "BRANCH WAKE UP THE BABY IS COMING!!!!" She screamed which caused Branch to jolt awake screaming. "Geez Poppy What The hell?!" He said rubbing his eyes. "Sorry Honey But I said that the baby is coming twice!!!" Poppy screamed from the pain. Branch's eyes went wide and started to panic. "Oh crap oh crap oh crap!!!" He said. "Uh Branch we have no time to panic because I can feel the baby coming out and I don't think we have enough time to get to the hospital so just call my dad, our friends and Dr Plum!!!!" Poppy yelled in pain. Branch nodded and called everyone. 15 minutes later they heard knocking on the door and Branch let everyone in and led Dr Plum to his and Poppy's bedroom so she can deliver the baby. "Okay Branch unfortunately you can't be in here to experience the beauty of birth so you're going to have to stay out here with everyone else." Dr Plum said. Branch nodded but was very worried for his wife. It has been two hours since Poppy was giving birth and Branch was pacing back and forth biting his fingers. "Branch will you stop doing that?!" Aspen said holding his and Chenille's son Steve who had his mother's skin, freckles and eyes and his father's hair and nose. "Yeah Branch What's the problem?" Smidge said holding her and Biggie's son Tiny, he had his father's skin and hair and his mother's nose and eyes. "I'm sorry guys it's just I'm so worried about Poppy!" Branch said. The Snack Pack were about to say something else until they heard the door open and saw Dr Plum standing in the door way with a smile on her face. "Branch it's over. Would you like to meet them?" She said surprising everyone. "THEM!!!?" Everyone said at the same time. They all went into the bedroom and saw Poppy laying on the bed tucked in with an exhausted smile on her face and saw her holding two little bundles in her arms. "Branch come meet your son and Daughter." She said. Branch walked right to her side and she gave him one of the babies. The baby was nuzzled in his pink blanket and turned his head to look at his father which shocked Branch because he looked just like him. The baby had his father's blue skin, dark purple hair because his father's hair is dark blue and his mother's hair is dark pink and pink and blue makes purple. He had his mother's hot pink eyes and nose and he had glitter freckles. He smiled at his father who smiled back with tears in his eyes. "Hello my little boy, I'm your daddy." Branch said hugging his new son. "He's so handsome just like his father." Poppy said smiling at the cute scene and looked at their new daughter who looked like her mother. She had her mother's pink skin and glitter freckles, she had matching purple hair like her brother's, her father's blue eyes and a dark blue nose. "She's so beautiful just like her mother." Branch said smiling at his daughter. "What should we name them Branch?" Poppy said looking at her husband. "Well our boy is so strong and handsome like his father and he reminds me of an oak tree so maybe we should name him Oak." Branch said. Poppy smiled liking the name. "Oak, I love it. Our daughter is so happy and beautiful like her mother and she looks like a beautiful Lilly Flower so how about we name her Lilly?" Poppy said. Branch smiled because he loved the name. "It's perfect." Branch said and handed Oak to Poppy and took Lilly. "Hello my little Lilly, I'm your daddy. You're so beautiful and when you grow up you're going to be even more beautiful just like your mother and boys are going to want to date you and your daddy is going to beat them up and threaten them if they ever try anything funny." Branch said smiling at his little girl. Everyone laughed at Branch but stopped when they saw him glare at them meaning that he was serious. "I know they're twins but which one is older?" Suki asked. "Oak is 59 minutes older than Lilly." Dr Plum answered which made everyone nod in understandment. Steve started to Squirm in Chenille's arms reaching for Lilly. "Aw Steve wants to say hi." Poppy said and gestured for Chenille to let him on the bed which she did. Poppy held Steve and showed him to Lilly. Steve started to make Baby noises and smiled at Lilly. She looked at him and smiled and hugged him which he returned the gesture. "Awwwwww!!!" Everyone But Branch said. "Aww young love how cute." Poppy said. "Yeah it is cute but when he grows up I'm going to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't try anything funny." Branch said eying Steve.
