Daisy was in her room writing in her journal, then out of nowhere, her phone started ringing, Glenn was calling Daisy. "Hey babe" Glenn said with happiness. "Hey babe, what's up?" Daisy asked. "Want to go out? And just us two" Glenn said. "Sure, when?" Daisy asked. "At 8, and dress nice" Glenn said. "Alright that sounds great, see you" Daisy said and hung up. Daisy got up from her bed and searched through her closet. She finally found a cute short plain blue dress and some matching shoes then Daisy headed to the bathroom, she took a 20 minute shower then brushed her teeth and ironed her hair. Daisy went back to her room and got dressed. Went she finished putting on her shoes it just hit 8:00.
Daisy grabbed her phone and purse then headed downstairs where her friends were chilling on the couch. "Where are you going dressing all nice?" Emma asked. "With Glenn on a date, why?" Daisy asked. "Just checking, where's he taking you?" Emma asked. "I don't know" Daisy said walking to the door. "Make sure to use protection" Kassandra joked then they all laughed. Daisy faked laughed then walked outside and closed the door behind her, she looked up and saw Glenn in the car on his phone waiting for her. The window was down in the passenger seat, "BOO!" Daisy yelled, and made Glenn jump. "Shit Daisy you scared me" Glenn said placing his hand on his chest. "That was the plan" Daisy said laughing. Daisy entered the car then closed the door, then Daisy kissed Glenn. "Who were you texting?" Daisy asked. "My brother, he broke his charger and wanted to use mine" Glenn said while driving, "Ready?" He continued. "Yes" Daisy said smiling.
Daisy's P.O.V: I was so excited for this date, because we hadn't had one in a while. After 10 minutes of driving we finally pulled into a parking lot of a restaurant, then we got out of the car, Glenn took my hand. "I don't think I've been here before" I said. "It's called Ralph's Spagetti n' Dine, it might not sound fancy but it is" Glenn said with smile. "You look handsome in that tux, why don't you wear it more often?" I asked. "Because it's a fancy restaurant, had to dress nice" Glenn said laughing. I don't know why but his laugh made me smile. He is just so cute and sweet, it feels like I just met him. We entered the restaurant and Glenn went up to a waitress. He got us our seats and we sat down. I was flabbergasted by the way this place looked.
There were chandeliers on the ceiling, the tables were set up clean and nice, the whole place was huge and there were little lamps on each table. The same waitress came and asked for our drinks. "I would like a coke please" Glenn said. "And I woke like pink lemonade thank you" I said, she nodded and walked off. I scanned the room. "There's not that much people, hm" I said and then looked back at the menu. "So, do you like it?" Glenn asked. "Like it? I love it, it's so beautiful" I said with a bright smile. "I love you so much" Glenn said and grabbed my hand, I smiled.
Glenn's P.O.V: She looks so beautiful, like the night sky, so shy and dark but gorgeous and breathtaking. "What are going to order?" Daisy asked still looking through the menu. "I thought to get the white spagetti" I said. "Oh that looks good, I'll get the same" Daisy said and closed her menu then placed it on the table. Her hair is so pretty, I wish she didn't ironed her hair because I love her natural curly hair. The waitress came back with our drinks. "Do you guys want to order?" The waitress asked. "Yes, can we have the white spaghetti please" I said. "Okay, will that be all?" The waitress asked. "Yes, thank you" Daisy said with a smile. Her smile was so bright it could lighten you up in your darkest days.
Daisy's P.O.V: He keeps looking at me, he keeps smiling too. I try to think of a way to break this awkward silence. "I hope the food is as good as the seats" I laughed. Glenn didn't say anything, he just chuckled. "Glenn are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" Glenn said. "Then why do you keep looking at me?" I asked. "Because your just so beautiful, your hair, your eyes, your smile, it's like "how did I ever get this", it's like God sent down and angel. I've been blessed when I met you ten years ago" Glenn said. I couldn't believe what I just heard, a guy never said that to me before. "I love you so much, I'm glad I have you" I said with a big smile. The waitress came back with our food 20 minutes later. We ate and I instantly fell in love with the food. We finished and ate dessert, one chocolate ice cream cake, and that was delicious too. When we finished we went back to the car.
"Where are we going?" I asked. "To the beach, there's a late sunset" Glenn said. "That sounds romantic" I said. We made it to the beach and walked on the sand with our shoes in our hands. We reach the end of the beach where the rocks stopped us in our tracks, there was a beautiful yellow and orange sunset. "I loved tonight" I said with a smile. "Me too" Glenn smiled. He reached for something in his pocket... it was a ring, I gasped at the diamonds on it. "It's a promise ring" Glenn started, "I want us to always love each other, to care about each other, and to always be honest even if it hurts." He put it on my middle finger then kissed me. We sat on the sand and watched the moon and stars. "We should go, it's getting late" I said while standing up. We left to Glenn's car and drove home.
