"Close your eyes."

Elizabeth says as she covers Cathy's eyes with her hands and leads her to the living room.

"What is it?"

Cathy asked curiously.
Elizabeth giggles and then releases her hands from Cathy's view.

"Ta-da!! What do you think?"

Elizabeth says as Yang pops out from behind the couch and throws confetti at Cathy, there was a banner, balloons, streamers and a cake on the kitchen counter, the whole house was lit beautifully.

"T- thank you!"

Cathy said shocked as she smiles shyly.

"I'm sorry Jasper couldn't be here, I'm sure he wanted to!.."

Elizabeth says as she rubs her arm.
Cathy smiled and shook her head as she hugged Elizabeth.
Cathy knew Elizabeth had been working hard to make this day special for her, but it didnt feel the same without Jasper, she knew nothing has been the same sense that day when everything seemed to fall apart.

"It's okay! Really. I mean he has a life right?"

Cathy said as she went over to the cake and picked at the frosting.

"Okay, okay but sweetie no pouting on your birthday."

Elizabeth said as she walks over to the cake and cuts a slice for Cathy.

"He's still an asshole for abandoning us like we weren't even close, especially when he was the closest to Cathy!"

Yang adds as he looks over at the window as he almost starts cussing in Korean.

"Yang it's fineeeee."

Cathy drags on as she smile, Elizabeth gives Cathy another hug and then starts handing out drinks.

"You know Cathy, you don't have to act so strong we know it hasn't been easy for yo-"

Elizabeth says as Yang soon cuts her off.

"Babe stop okay? She doesn't wanna talk about it."

Yang says as Elizabeth looks down and smiles worriedly.

"I know but I just wanted her to know we are here for her, Sorry about me blabbing."

"It's okay Lizzie, you dont blab."

Cathy says as she smiles at Elizabeth and touch her hand and gives it a little squeeze.

"You know Cathy if you weren't so good I'd say we should all get drunk or get a tattoo!"

Elizabeth teases as she looks over at Yang.

"I know."

Cathy says giggling.

'They always tired making my birthday special, now more the ever'
Thought Cathy as she felt special.

Soon enough Elizabeth passed out on Yang's lap as he played with her hair and kissed her forehead.

"You know, I'm really happy you and Elizabeth got together."

Cathy says as she looks at her hands.
She was nervous, it was the first time that she had talked to Yang sense Elizabeth and him got together. Cathy wasn't jealous, she was happy for them but somewhere inside her she wanted to scream because nothing was the same anymore.

"I know you are but sometimes I wish you were selfish and told Jasper how you felt about him."

Yang says as he smiles lovingly at Elizabeth as she snores and rubs her face on his leg.

"It's not that simple, I wish it was though."

Cathy says as she sighs.

Yang laughs as he lays Elizabeth's head down on the floor and scooches over to Cathy.

"This is for you."

Yang says as he hands Cathy a book.

"I know it's not much but I know it'll mean alot to you."

Yang says as rubs Cathy's head gently and then wakes Elizabeth up.

"Come on hun, I have to get you home."

"What about Cathy!"

Elizabeth says like a drunk person as she stumbles over to Yang and holds onto his arm.

"Don't worry about me I'll be fine."

Cathy says as she runs her fingers over the wide, thick book Yang had gave to Cathy.

"Okay!"

Elizabeth says as Yang drags her out the front door and waves.

The door finally shuts and Cathy can get a good look at the book Yang gave her.

It was her father's old binder that he would never let her touch.
On the front is says,

'Little things matter the most.'

Cathy runs her fingers over the binder again and again trying to memorize the leather fabric and the thick thread binding it all together.

Once she open it a tone of pictures of the little things she did with Elizabeth, Jasper, Yang and Wendy all appeared, memories that she almost had forgotten over the years, she never thought she'd be without them until now.
