Despair

Two and a Half Years had passed since Telence's betrayal, and the kingdom of Bala was quick to fall apart. The militia had went across the globe to get stronger and train, which had included Hottan. He and Seth had trained vigorously to hone their magic skills.

" Life hasn't been the same without Jona..." He Thought To Himself, walking towards the harbor with Seth.

" Where are we going anyways? " The Dragon Hybrid asked, raising an eyebrow as he gazed upon the blazing sun.

" Athens, I heard that it's been taken over by a group of thieves, but that's all speculation, not much information has leaked outside of the city since I've heard about it....there's been a silence in the south, and I'm attracted to it... " Seth replied, grinning as he walked on board the ship with Hottan.

" I heard the made eggs for us in our quarters, if you don't get that long face away from me, I'm going to eat your portion as well..." Seth continued, getting annoyed at Hottan, who had been ' damaged ' since the death of Jona.

" I'll be there in a jiffy! " Hottan shouted, making a mad dash towards his quarters, only to be tripped by the sorcerer.

" Nobody makes eggs this early in the day, how gullible are you? " The blonde asked, raising an eyebrow at the warrior.

" Gullible enough to think you aren't going to betray me..." Hottan replied, chuckling as he got up.

" You amuse my Hottan, that's why I don't want you to die before I meet my end..." The Sorcerer said softly, walking to his bedroom and tossing himself on la cama.

" I'll take that as a no..." The Hybrid sighed, getting on his respective bed and feeling it to see if it suited him....

" Lord Romi, we have successfully annexed the Garden into our kingdom, and the land surrounding it " Fumi stated, bowing to him.

" Very good, tell Eurayle that I'm entrusting the Garden of the Hesperides to her, we no longer have to come to Hottan, for he will come to us now..." Romi smiled, looking back at Fumi to reveal his three eyes.

" With pleasure.." Fumi smiled back, walking away from his master to inform his subordinate about the news....

" Athens sure looks nice for a city that's been taken over be thieves..." Hottan said, as the ship began to arrive towards its destination.

" It's the silence that bothers me Hottan, the fact that nobody acts like nothing has happened or changed is reason enough to level this place three times and start over..." Seth said angrily, gripping at the wooden rail of the ship.

" Nobody has said a word about this conflict getting worse or resolving..." He muttered, looking upon the kingdom in disdain.

The two had arrived on the island after a long wait, and they began to walk around until they came upon a house that....had seen better days. " What's our end goal here anyways? " Hottan asked, looking at the strange sorcerer.

" I've got a man on the inside, and he lives here..." Seth answered, opening the door and walking into the house.

Odysseus smiled as he looked at the two. " Hello fellas! " He smiled, hugging them both tightly.

" He barely knows me yet he acts like he's my grandfather or something...." Hottan Thought To Himself as his eyes widened in shock.

" What's the update? We haven't talked for such a long time! " Seth exclaimed, smiling.

" Hmm...nothing much has changed since the invasion, other than democracy is heavily limited now, but we're all used to that anyways, the big news however, is fairly recent " The Traveller stated, sitting down in a chair.

" Eurayle is hosting a tournament to decide who will take control of the Garden of the Hesperides, it's a big event that's attracting a lot of people that have connections to the king himself and his subordinates " Odysseus explained, making various hand gestures to get his point across.

" It's a trap then...but if Telence is gone and Sheno is dead, then who would have a grudge against Hottan? " Seth asked himself, putting a finger to his chin.

" I can think of some, but none of them would have the firepower necessary to take a country over, most of the people I met had dead kinsmen, so your guess is as good as mine..." Hottan sighed, sitting down on another chair.

" We have no other choice to take the bait, if none of you want to come, so be it..." Hottan continued, getting up and walking outside of the house, sternly.

" Damn kid doesn't even know where the coliseum is..." Odysseus chuckled, following the dragon hybrid with a smile on his face.

" I care about him too much to abandon him..." Seth added, running towards the warrior.
