The sisters made it to the inside of the large building, and began to advance towards the location of the sorceress Medea. Sobera fired off a wave of water from her palms and knocked the door down with ease.
A woman confronted them however, another sorceress, despite her position, she got into a fighting stance, something someone of her trade wouldn't usually do. It was Selena, the woman who had the ability to steal the powers of those she killed, she was extremely formidable-
The woman made a mad dash for her opponents, however, she was quickly subdued by Yasho's tendrils which wrapped around her tightly. " A ranged attacker will always have the advantage over a physical one if there's distance involved " Sobera said, smirking as she shot out a violent wave of water from her palms, which ripped through her body as if it were wet paper, killing her.
Medea simply clapped as she approached her opponents, grinning. " It seems that you've killed my pet, what a shame..." She sighed, resting her hand on her forehead dramatically.
" This is the end Medea! Your reign here is over! " Sobera shouted, dashing towards the witch and firing off a wave of water towards her opponent, only for the woman to grasp the water with her palms and on contact, it became glitter, and fell to the ground.
" My Ability is to turn whatever I see fit into art once it comes into contact with my being, and for this very reason, I have become the only woman powerful enough to have the honor of the title, Telence's wife " Medea monologued, as the glitter on the ground began to make a magic circle around the two females.
Yasho dashed towards her sister, however, a magic barrier formed from the circle kept her out, and she was flung back to the walls by its sheer defensive force. " Yasho..." Sobera muttered, her eyes widening as she gazed back upon her sister with terror.
They say some people go into a state of fright or flight when they are put in a position that is dangerous for them. Sobera however, was frozen with fear, her opponent had an ability that completely countered hers, and she had been separated from her younger sister, a person that she had known for years on end. Memories came rushing to her being like vultures to a corpse, and tears flew from her eyes at the inevitable.
The cloaked woman grinned as she made her stride towards the Fonica sister, and lightly tapped the back of her neck. " Yasho...don't go..." Sobera said weakly, coughing from the amount of tears flowing from her face as her body began to harden at a rapid pace.
The woman let out a scream of intense pain as her body began to turn into a brick statue. Yasho dashed towards Medea as the barrier closed, and the glitter began to disperse throughout the room. " Do you like the statue, I call it The Crying Lady " Medea laughed, holding out her palm so she could kill Yasho.
" I'm sure you'll reunite with your sister in a couple minutes...I shall make you all pieces of art, unable to leave the world of the living, and spend an eternity being admired by those around you...isn't that everyone's dream, to be loved? " Medea continued, her grin growing more sadistic as time passed.
Several tendrils shot out of Yasho's head, and the majority of them went straight for the wife of Telence's neck. " You sick bastard! I'll make you suffer! " She screamed, tightening her grip as Medea tried to grasp the tendrils with her hands.
" You're Cocky...one touch and you're finished..." Medea coughed weakly, her finger about to make contact with Yasho's tendrils, only for her body to be swung into a spiral staircase that was nearby, killing her easily.
Yasho's tendrils loosened and returned to her to give the illusion of hair. Her body began to shiver from fear, and she looked upon her sister, hugging her brick body tightly as tears rolled from her face, like a rainy day upon a brick bridge...
