Kat's POV:
Frank looked at me, his big brown eyes challenging. He sat down in front of me while Kobe yelled,
"Frank, start!" Frank looked at me, his brown eyes losing competivness and gaining nervousness, he stuttered,
"Um, you're very...beautiful?" I half-smiled on the outside, while wincing on the inside. Was that the best he could do? For a guy who can turn into any animal, this will be an easy takedown.
"Frank, you're an animal." I told him, trying to put complete sincerity in my voice, I had a lot of practice, since I was always trying to get out of homework.
Frank blushed instantly, and so did Hazel, much to my surprise. I jumped up and whooped. Kobe and I clapped hands, Kobe calling the next names. I skipped back to my seat, next to Piper and Leo.
"Piper, your turn to pick a name!" Kobe tells Piper. Piper stands up and plunges her hand into the cup.
"Jason." she reads
"Wow, never knew Jason was a girl." Leo and I say at the same time.
"Jinx." I say "Ha, you owe me a Coke!" I say to Leo triumphantly. He frowns and chuckles.
Jason shakes his head and walks to the middle of the circle with Piper. Piper starts.
"Jason, you always take my breath away, must be because you're a child of Zeus." she trys, using charmspeak. It was a good start but Jason smiles back, unfazed.
"Thanks Pipes, but Aphrodite called yesterday, she wanted her beauty back."
Pipers face turned red, but I'm not sure it was because of the mention of her mom, her beauty, Jason calling her Pipes, or if itbwas the Aphrodite in her to blush. Jason stood up humbly and walked back to his seat with a small smirk on his face, with all the boys cheering.
"And now we take all the winners, boy and girl, and put them in a cup." Kobe announces. "So that would be Kat, Jason, Annabeth and me." Kobe says. "I." Annabeth corrects him.
"Kat, Jason, Annabeth and I" she continues "Whatever." Kobe says, he was never one for grammer corrections.
Putting the names in the cup, Kobe tells Annabeth to pick a name.
"I got...Kobe." she pronounces. Kobe smirked at her and made his way to the middle. Kobe started.
"You're a child of Athena, correct?" Kobe asked Annabeth, who nodded.
"It would be wise to go out with me." he continued.. Annabeth smirked, but didnt blush.
"You must be a child of Zeus, because every time I see you, sparks fly. " Annabeth responds. I thought I saw a little tint in Kobe's cheeks, but it was quickly vanished with a little smirk
Kobe thought for a moment then smiled widely. I knew that smile, it was either the:
'I need to go bathroom' smile or the 'I'm going to wipe the floor with you' smile.
"Do you have a drachama? My mom told me to Iris message her when I found the person of my dreams." My mouth dropped open, so did everyone else's. Annabeth cheeks went 5 different shades of red.
"I WON, I WON, I I I I WON!!!" Kobe ran around high fiveing everyone. Annabeth got up and slumped back to her seat, a small pout evident on her face. Kobe sat down, finally, with a huge grin on his face.
