graysons pov

ever since are fight with kaye she has not responded to any of our text or calls. i miss hanging with her but i know its our fault she doesnt want to talk to us at all. im upset yeah not gonna lie shes amazing and i would love to be her bf but i wish she would talk to us. ethan is still a little upset at me but were mostly cool i guess. i texted kaye gm like i always and no response. we were suppose to film today like we always do and she was gonna help but she is mia. i texted bryant and he helped us filmed and wee got it done. i had to edit this week so thats what i was gonna  do. ethan was just sitting on the couch bummed. editing takes a little bit to do but its worth it in my opinion.  my phone goes off me expecting it to be kaye but only a text from cameron asking if we wanted to come to his house for a pool party. i guess since we have nothing else to do plus kaye could be there. 

i tell ethan and we run back by the apartment to get changed then we head to camerons house. we pull up at camerons and knock on the door. kaye opens and says there in the backyard and she goes back up to her room. her room window leads to the backyard so she can see the pool and such. we go into the backyard and meet up with cameron, aaron, matt and taylor. camerons making food and everyones kinda hanging out or in the pool. nash and hayes are swimming with the jacks. me and eth kinda just sit around but shortly get in the pool with everyone else. i keep glancing at kayes window and her curtain was closed. ethan kept looking to but we decided if she wanted to hang she would come to us. 

its been about an hr or so and were all out eating burgers talking. we are trying to figure out what to do. i hear the doorbell ring and i go to get it but i see kaye open it and let some guy in and they go up to her room. my first assumption is there a thing she likes him and i get kinda jealous. i come back out and tell ethan and he seems a little upset. we get back in the pool and i noticed kayes curtains are now open and some music is being played. i kinda ignore it and go back to this party

kayes pov

so camerons having a pool party and i seek no interest, why well matt my ex is there and the twins are also there making things awkward as it already is. i invited blake over since we havent hung in a while. we were gonna swim but everyones out there so no. we film a little then he heads home and i just kinda sit in my room. i get the bright idea to fill up some waterballons and waterguns and shoot them from my window. so i fill them up and open my window and fire. i hit everyone at least once then i close the window and sit back inside. it was nice.

it got kinda later and everyone was  inside meaning i had the pool to myself. i change into my swimsuit and sneak past everyone and go outside. i put my towel down and grab a pool float and fill it with air. i connect to the bluetooth speakers and play sunset lover mixed with some other chill songs i like. i put my shades on even tho its starting to get dark and the pool lights came on i was fine. i set the lights to multi color and just relaxed and enjoyed my time. it was nice and peaceful and cool outside just saying. im all alone or so i thought. i look up to see grayson sitting on the edge of the pool. 

graysons pov

we were all inside when i heard a door close. i look outside and see kaye getting into the pool. she had the lights going and some music. i decided id go see whats up since she is by herself maybe we could talk. i sit on the edge of the pool and it moves the water a little and kaye looks up and see me. i wave to her and she puts her shades on, i tell her i like this song and she kinda ignores. she seems a little irritated but i really want to talk to her shes so cool and nice and i honestly want my friend back.

"are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna get in. and what do you want you came out here for a reason" she says. i climb in and go next to herr on her pool float. "actually i saw you come outside and came to see whats up" i say. she pushes up her glasses "what else i know thats not the only reason, come on grayson you came out here to see why i have been avoiding you and not replying back didnt you," she says and shes is right i came out here to see why. "look i havent been avoiding you on purpose but i also have, when i saw you and ethan fighting over me i freaked out and had a panic attack. why well thats what happened between hayes and matt remember you were there when it happened. i didnt want yall to hate eachother because of me not again so i just left and distanced myself. im sorry if i hurt you i didnt want to ruin anything we had. im sorry" she says. i tell her its fine we just want our friend back and gave her a hug.

we sit there kinda close with her on the float and me infront of her in the pool. "soooo want to swim, or something" she suggest. "yeah id love to" i say, she slaps my arm and hops into the pool. we race eachother back and forth and stuff. she splashes me and i splash her back like normal and she trys to drag me down. i pick her up bridal style and swing her around, laura by hockey dad comes on and i just look at her. "i didnt know you liked this song" i say ,"i love this song its cute" she says. "just like you" i say and i lean in and we kiss, like not no petty peck shit like we passionatly kiss and she looks up at me and say "that was nice, cute, dolan you sure know how to steal a heart" and she kisses me one last time.

oki so yes little spoiler but clearly its gonna happen but i found her next boo AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH am soooo EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK BISSHHHHHH IM READY FOR THESE UPDATES ON GGGGGG CANT WAIT
