Dippers POV
We've been traveling for days it seems. Captain Ford says 'we're not lost' but we all know the truth. We're all famished by the lack of food we've been getting. We're all tired from having to work all day. Just as I thought this day couldn't get any worse I hear Ford cry, "ENEMY SHIP APPROACHING! ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!" It's funny to me how he can be so enthusiastic when he hasn't eaten for 2 days. But despite being famished, tired, and weak, I stand up ready for the fate that God has planned for me. As soon as I stand, a long haired brunet comes running past me. "Come on Bro-bro. We gotta fight!" Mabel's words always gets me in high spirits, she is my sister after all. "Coming Mabel." I respond. I really don't want to do anything but I can't let my family, the team, and most importantly, the captain down. "CODE RED!" I hear the captain shout. I haven't heard that in 8 years... I thought. In a blink of an eye, I forget my hunger, I forget about my exhaustion, I even become stronger. I can't let those pirates take away anything else from us (read description), I thought. I run to the main deck and start loading the cannons. Mabel and the commander in chief, Stan here helping. We fire... but miss. "Dammit" I mutter under my breath. I ship was getting closer. They must be trying to take over the boat, either that or looting it. Heh, good luck finding anything I think. I snap out of my thoughts when I here Mabel calling my name. "DIPPER! COME HELP! THEY'RE GETTING CLOSER!" "They should be an easier target." Stan says. I start loading the next cannon. We fire once again but as we did before we miss. It's too late we're too close. "ABANDON SHIP! ABANDON SHIP!" I hear Ford shout. We all go run over to the life boats. I stay on deck to help people aboard. As soon as the last person's off, I go to jump as well but something pulls me back. I look back and I'm looking in the eyes of Bill Cipher, one of the most feared pirates of the sea. "DIPPER! LET GO OF HIM!" I hear Mabel yell. But he only chuckles and pulls me back. "On to the boat now, PineTree." I feel a shiver down my spine as he said those words. This is going to be a long day...
