The Walking Dead

Season 3

Episode 8

Execution

Previously On WillBrennan7’s The Walking Dead…

“I think I know who’s sabotaging us” says Anthony. “Sam.” It cuts to the morning as Anthony says “I’m taking him on a run.” Sam and Anthony shoot walkers on a bridge as Anthony’s voice says “Look for Dave and Pete.” William and the others fall down the hill as a walker lunges at Ian who moves out of the way and hits Gwen in the face. Then, Anthony runs into a dark room and shouts “SAM” but there is no answer.

There was a creak as the wooden chair rolled back and forth. The man in it laughed as he stared at something on the ground. He started to laugh as he clenched the whip in his hand. Then, with all his breath, he began to sing:

“He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands,

He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands,

He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands,

He’s got the Whole World In his Hands.”

He jumped to his feet and said “It’s time to die, infected scum. The lord needs me to cleanse the world of you.” He laughed loudly as the thing on the ground moved into the light. Sam Freed had tears falling down his face, mixing with his bloody cheek.

One Hour Earlier

Anthony Freed moved the light all around the room, but he didn’t see any sign of his son. “Sam” said Anthony. “Where are you? At least give me some sort of sign that you’re alright.” However, it seemed like Anthony was the only thing alive. Then, the walkers started banging on the door, so Anthony moved farther into the building.

William groaned as he looked up and saw several walkers rolling down the hill. “GUYS” he shouted. “RUN.” He pulled Carly up as the others started getting up, but Gwen didn’t. “Is she dead?” Kate asked. “No” said Terry. “She must’ve hit her head. She’s unconscious.” “Did she hit anything, Ian?” Ted asked. “No idea” Ian lied, because he was the one who hit her. “I was rolling too.” “Ian, pick her up” William said. “Let’s go.” Ian threw Gwen on his shoulders and they all ran off.

Anthony walked farther into the building looking for Sam. As he walked into a corridor with a small window, which let light in, he could here walkers around. He saw a nearby bathroom and pressed his ear against the door, and he could here walkers inside. He raised his gun and moved on.
