"There's no one you like since you've been here?!" Jughead asked Toni shockingly.
Toni shook her head. "Nope. They're all preppy and bitchy...it's just not what I like." Toni responded with a simple shrug.
They both sat down with their lunch trays at the table with the rest of the Serpent gang. "I'm surprised you like that blondie. What exactly do you see in her again?" Toni asked sarcastically before taking a bite out of her apple.
Jughead rolled his eyes at Toni's sarcasm. "Not funny Toni. I really love Betty and that'll never change." He replied simply before eating his burger.
Toni let out a sigh as a group of people came towards their table. "You Southside shitheads better not even think of ruining this school like you did with Southside High!" A girl with cherry, red hair yelled as she stared at the Serpents.
She rolled her eyes before a laugh escaped from Toni's lips. "It's funny how you think you can throw us around Red." Toni stood up and said to Cheryl, receiving a death glare from her.
"Oh, I'm sorry...Let me introduce myself!" She started. "I'm Cheryl Blossom and I don't need your under average opinion on anything I do!" Cheryl clearly stated before staring at me with her arms crossed.
Jughead gestured for me to sit down and not say another word, but obviously I refused. "I'm Toni Topaz and I suggest that you sit your ass down somewhere else." Toni threatened before looking back at her.
Cheryl shook her head before walking away with a group of people behind her.
She sat down at her usual table and stared at Toni in awe. "What's her name again?" Cheryl asked curiously, hoping someone would answer.
"Toni Topaz." Veronica responded as she ate some of her salad. "Do you like her or something?" She asked, trying to hold back her laughter.
Cheryl shook her head and gave Veronica a nasty look. "No, I'd never! She's not my type." Cheryl lied, her eyes shifting back towards the serpent.
Veronica shrugged and continued to enjoy her lunch as Cheryl just enjoyed the view. A small smile grew on her face as she stared at the girl. "Now that's one I'd remember."

Toni went to her locker to go get some things during class. Once she closed it, Cheryl appeared in front of her. "What did the Serpents do this time? Spill your cherry cola?!" Toni guessed before searching for a response.
A small laugh escaped from Cheryl's lips. "You think so low of me, don't you?" She asked while leaning her body against the lockers.
"I mean, yeah, who wouldn't? You have so many expectations and goals for this school that seem so...low." Toni told her as she eyed Cheryl's actions.
Cheryl scanned her up and down before flashing a smirk towards her. "What if I make them higher at Pop's, tonight at 7?" Cheryl simply asked her, leaving Toni in shock. She never thought Cheryl could be so nice to her. "I'll see it to believe it." Toni agreed just right when the bell rings.
"This should be interesting." Toni mumbled quietly to herself as she walked out of school, ditching her other classes she didn't care about.
She went down to the Whyte Wyrm and worked a bit there to only find herself hanging out. Once school ended, she headed towards Pop's waiting for Cheryl.

Cheryl went back to her house to get ready to meet up with Toni. She put on a nice outfit before walking out of the house, only to be stopped by her mother.
"Where do you think you're going Cheryl?" She asked as she stood in front of the door. Obviously annoyed, Cheryl rolled her eyes. "None of your business." She responded before pushing her out of the way, hurrying to her car to drive afar.
Once she arrived at Pop's, she saw the neon glow reflect on her shiny, scarlet car. She made her way inside and instantly spotted Toni in one of the booths. She had to admit that her pink highlights were a true lifesaver.
"High expectations, huh?" Toni reminded her as a smirk grew on her face.
"This isn't a date or anything." Cheryl joked before laughing a little.
Toni looked down since she thought it was, but it kind of isn't. "Is it?"
"Why would you think that?" Cheryl asked until a smile formed on her face. "Unless miss pink highlights here has a crush on me." Cheryl countered as she let her eyes get lost into Toni's.
Toni laughed it off before changing the subject of the conversation. "What was it like...ya know, before the south side invaded?"
Cheryl let out a heavy sigh, going on to answer. "Like every normal town...until the Black Hood took the stage." Cheryl responded as the waiter came with their milkshakes, setting them onto the table.
"But...it's become more of a dark place now. A black hole even...my own home isn't even safe." Cheryl admitted while taking a sip of her milkshake.
Toni nodded while a feeling of sympathy washed over her. "I'm sorry Cheryl..." She said softly, gazing into her eyes.
"You didn't do anything Toni." Cheryl told her with a light giggle. "There's just really bad people in Riverdale, including my family. And I can't help but think that...maybe I'm crazy like they are." Cheryl stared down at her strawberry- colored nails, tapping gently against the glass cup her milkshake sat in.
Toni shook her head in disagreement, placing her hand gently on top of Cheryl's. "Hey, we're all crazy Cheryl. We're not like our parents...we're not like our families."
Cheryl's eyes altered towards Toni's, resulting in her closing the gap between the two of them. After a few seconds, she pulled away hesitantly. Before she knew it, her lips were on Toni's once more, and a new story in Riverdale began.
