a week had passed. laela was on a small break from modeling, while the boys were getting ready to get back on the road.
laela had fallen into an almost depressed-like state, after realizing everything she had been through the past few months. the fact that so much happened in such little time still confused her.
zion however, was at his highest point in life. the band was doing amazing, as they were gaining more and more fans every day. he had even recently hit 300k on instagram, though he didn't acknowledge it.
he also felt that his relationship with karsen had grown stronger over the past few weeks. he was really happy with her.
zion didn't want anything to change.
laela wanted a new beginning.
zion waved goodbye to the boys, getting into his own uber after their long meeting with simon.
he sat in the seat, texting karsen.
baby🧡
hey babe, i'm on my way to the house. thought we could have a movie night?
his eyebrows slightly furrowed at the nonexistent text karsen had sent back. he knew she had no plans today, and she was most likely on her phone. he shook it off, thinking that she was probably in the shower or something.
twenty minutes later, zion quietly thanked the uber before getting the spare key karsen kept inside the faux plant and unlocking the door.
he closed the door with a smile, ready to surprise karsen.
but that smile quickly dropped as he heard the noises coming from upstairs.
"holy fuck, daryl, faster!" karsen screamed out.
moans and grunts continued to be heard.
zion seemed to be frozen in shock. tears welled up in his eyes. he quickly composed himself and turned back around, slamming the door shut.
"oh shit. baby, you need to go. he's home." he heard karsen yelling.
zion scoffed, shaking his head. his sadness slowly turned into anger.
his face seemed to drop even more, realizing something.
laela had been telling the truth.
