(Last Chapter y'all! I know this story was more of a slice of life story, but I wanted so much to give these two happiness, so I wanted to focus on the joys of their lives. I enjoyed writing this story, and I am so glad that everyone that commented on the last story and sent me messages convinced me to come back to this story. Thanks to all of you for helping to take a story that represented a dark time in my life and making it into something bright and joyful!
And thank you to EleftheraiRinaki and ayakashi_no_ko for the names that I chose for the children.)

Uta sat on a tree branch overlooking the field. She stared down at the KIA stone as she idly tapped her pencil against her notebook. How much darkness had she faced in her life? How much had Kakashi faced? She almost couldn't believe that all of that darkness had existed in the same lifetime as now. A smile touched her lips as she looked up at the sky. Usa must be proud of her. She had been able to find the happiness that he had wished for her.
"Mommy?" Uta blinked and looked down. Her three students were standing below the tree, her twin children riding on Jiro and Nobue's shoulders. Her son staring up at her with his silver eyes that matched her own, his gravity defying silver hair haloing his head. "What is it Shiruba?"
"When will daddy be here?"
Uta's daughter also looked up at her, her soft red hair tied in a braid and her onyx eyes glittering with mischief, "Yeah! I wanna play tag with daddy!" Uta laughed, "Mirai, you two already have those three to play tag with." Mirai puffed her cheeks and crossed her arms, "Yeah, but always let us win! Daddy gives us a challenge!" Shiruba nodded, "Yeah! He's the best at tag and hide'n seek!"
Uta sat up and dangled her legs, "Your father is Hokage. He can't always play whenever you want. But don't you worry, I'm sure he'll be off soon. But if you wanna play tag that bad, I know I can give you a decent challenge!" The twins looked at each other with grins, "Mommy's gunna play! Yay!"
Uta slid off of her branch as the twins scrambled off of Jiro and Nobue's shoulders.
Uta, the twins, and her students all ran around the field, laughing and shouting, playing tag until a familiar figure clad in white Hokage robes appeared. The twins stopped mid-chase and charged at the man squealing with delight, "Daddy!!" Kakashi chuckled and bent, opening his arms to the two eager children. He scooped them up and walked over to Uta while the twins regaled him with stories of what they did that day.
Kakashi's eyes were tender as he looked at Uta, "Sounds like you two kept mommy company really well. Did you have fun?" They both nodded and wrapped their arms around his shoulders, "Yeah, but we missed playing with you." Uta joined the twins in the group hug, wrapping her arms around Kakashi's waist, "Mommy missed playing with daddy today too." Kakashi blushed and cleared his throat. Uta giggled and leaned in, planting a gentle kiss on Kakashi's masked lips, "I'm really looking forward to this weekend." The twins were going to be spending the weekend with Uta's parents.
Kakashi chuckled and leaned to whisper in her ear, "Let's see if we can't make some more playmates to keep up with the twins then."
Uta and Kakashi waved goodbye to Uta's students as they headed off towards home. Mirai was on one side of Kakashi, holding his hand, Shiruba was on Uta's side, holding her hand, and Kakashi and Uta were holding hands in the middle. Uta sighed in happiness.
This joy she was feeling would stay with her for the rest of her life. And this love would last for eternity.
