Rachel remained confused as to why she didn't want her to not take it.
She evoked a sense of nostalgia when she recalled her nana getting mad at her because Rachel had reached and snatched the money before her grandmother could even offer it, causing her to turn red and irritated.
Rachel had gotten the most life shaking lectures that day and from then on, she wouldn't accept the things that were offered to her.
The bright red colour was the same as her nana's face that day, anger. Rachel depicted the colour red to be angry and somewhat love.
Rachel's culture wasn't anything like the people before her. They weren't angry, they were accepting. Rachel's family had told her not to accept or give in to other people's ways of life. It wasn't right.
