19 | dog sitter

cara didn't know what hyunjin was up to but cara guessed the blockhead wants to play hide and seek. pagkatapos kasing iwan si kkami sa kanya kahapon, wala nang bumalik sa apartment niya ni anino man lang. wala ding sumasagot sa pintuan nila kanina nung dumaan siya.

and so here she was, after ringing a few friends, nakahanap din siya ng pwedeng mag-aalaga kay kkami habang nasa school siya. busy kasi si mina niya tapos wala daw sa korea si bambam kaya wala siyang ibang mapagiiwanan.

the door opened a few seconds after she rang the doorbell. renjun grinned at the sight of her and hastily opened the gates.

"caraaa!" renjun gushed, enveloping her into a soul-crushing hug.

"injooon!" cara returned the enthusiasm.

kkami barked beside her, pulling on his leash. renjun released her from the hug and crouched to the dog's level.

"hello kkami!" renjun squeaked, ruffling the dog's fur.

thankfully, kkami didn't attempt to bite renjun's fingers off so she took it as a good sign and handed him kkami's leash and a bag where kkami's food and toys were.

"thank you, injoon. i'll make it up to you."

"hmm. marami ka pa na mang utang sakin. we should hang out soon," renjun grinned, patting cara's head, "don't worry. i'll keep you posted about this cutie."

cara nodded, "babalik ako pagkatapos ng klase."

cara was feeling a lot of things all at once and it was starting to make her dizzy. she was disappointed because she was late for her first class. and she was never late before. ever.

but she's a bit relieved. buti nalang talaga walang pasok sina renjun for the whole week. foundation week daw kasi nila and he'd much rather stay at home and fawn over moomin all day.

but mostly, she was absolutely, tremendously, severely annoyed because a certain guy with the name hwang hyunjin was still nowhere to be found. cara was expecting to see him at school pero wala pa rin siyang hyunjin na nakita. she wasn't very fond of talking during classes but she just found herself throwing a crumpled paper at jisung's table during math class.

a few seconds after, the paper was returned to her table.

hindi ko alam kung asan si hyunjin hehe

cara felt an angry vein twitch. she started scribling furiously and thew the paper at jisung, hitting him in the head.

what do you mean you don't know? how can you not? wala siya sa apartment niya kanina so he probably stayed at a friends house. if you don't want to tell me anything, then fine. but atleast do me a favor and remind him that he left his fucking dog at my care.

after her note, jisung didn't have the audacity to return the paper which made her more furious than she ever was.
