cara was just silently eating her lunch inside the classroom when she saw seya enter with a smug look on her face.

"uy ba't nandito ka?" seya grinned at her. she looked genuinely happy and cara found it particularly odd. . . and creepy.

cara decided to play deaf and continued eating her lunch but the other looked more enthusiastic to talk to her today. seya went to her seat but sat sidewards so she was facing cara, "hindi mo ba pupuntahan si hyunjin?"

the mention of hyunjin's name made cara look up at the other, "nandito si hyunjin?"

"yep. narinig ko nasa student lounge siya."

there was an evil glint on seya's eyes when she told her that. but as of now, cara didn't care what seya was so happy about. agad niyang niligpit ang pagkain niyang nangangalahati palang. hyunjin was here. nasa school siya. cara shook her head internally, supressing a smile. that idiot didn't even tell her na papasok na pala siya ngayon.

"bilisan mo! susunod ako tapos aagawin ko siya sayo!" seya called after her when she left the room.

"ang gaan talaga ng feeling ko sayo, alam mo yun?" hyunjin was startled when the girl grabbed his hand across the table, "feeling ko magiging maganda ang pagkakaibigan natin."

hyunjin let out an awkward laugh, dettaching their hands, "oo nga."

the girl pouted at his actions. hyunjin tried not to grimace, not that he has something against cute girls pero si cara cute naman without even trying.

"hyunjin!" someone called behind him, "hi shane!"

it was his minhyun hyung. he sat on the cemented bench beside hyunjin. hyunjin had to look away when his cousin gave him a once-over. baka kasi mahalata pa niya yung concealer na nilagay sa kanya nung girlfriend ni chan. his minhyun hyung would freak if he learns that hyunjin was going into fights again.

the girl across him flashed his cousin a bright smile, "hi sir!"

when minhyun asked if they already know each other, the girl immediately said yes. hyunjin on the other hand sheepishly shook his head. he didn't miss minhyun's disapproving look before he turned to the girl and smiled.

"pasensya na. hyunjin isn't really good at names," minhyun had to nudge hyunjin's knees under the table when he snorted at what his cousin just said.

"okay lang po," the girl was still smiling. hyunjin almost flinched when she turned to him. she was seriously starting to scare her, "you may not know me kasi hindi naman talaga ako kasing sikat mo but you may have heard my name from the boys sa section niyo. i'm shane cha from class c."

hyunjin was still clueless kung sino siya. he honestly never heard of the name shane cha before. but she did say na taga class c siya. so classmate siya ni felix?

hyunjin felt minhyun elbow him. he looked up at his cousin who was giving him a sharp look, "magpakilala ka."

"oh. . . uhm―"

hyunjin was cut off when shane laughed, "no. wag ka nang magpakilala. i already know you."

"great!" minhyun clapped his hands together and stood up from his seat, "sige may meeting pa kami. i'll give you some time alone." and with that he left hyunjin and his unfortunately creepy partner.
