tuesday afternoon, cara was walking home with music blasting through her earphones when someone grabbed her from behind and pulled her to a dark alleyway.

cara yelped when she was thrown to a wall, her back and head colliding with the solid concrete. a guy grabbed her bag and phone from her, throwing it a few meters away from her. napaluhod si cara nung may maramdaman siyang suntok sa tiyan niya. she was again kicked on the side by another foot.

she looked up to them. there were four of them. lahat sila nakamask. luckily, wala silang dalang kahit anong armas.

"anong kailangan niyo?" cara managed to say, wincing as she felt a pang on her stomach.

"sorry miss. napagutusan lang," the ring leader said. if anything, he didn't sound apologetic at all.

cara slowly stood up, glaring at the four guys, "you know, it's not cool to beat up a girl."

the ring leader walked towards her. he was clearly grinning at her through his mask, "wag ka nang lumaban miss. masasaktan ka lang."

the guy threw a punch at her but cara quickly ducked so the punch landed on the wall behind her instead. cara wasn't so sure but she might have heard a crack before the guy screamed in pain.

cara took the opportunity to kick the guy on the balls. it was a long time ago pero naaalala pa ni cara yung taekwondo lessons nila ng kuya soonyoung niya.

well, about time to check if she's still on shape.

it wasn't easy but cara managed to take the others down. a bruise was forming on her cheek where one guy managed to punch her. it was fine though, seeing that she made sure that all of them were unconscious on the ground.

she picked up her phone and checked if it was still working. to her luck, it was. may maliit lang na crack sa screen.

she dialed a number. after a few rings, the call finally connected, "hello, kuya jihoon? may favor ako. wag mong sasabihin kay kuya ah? sama mo na rin si kuya seungcheol."
