Chapter 4

Amber's p.o.v.

I was laughing and flirting with Roc until I saw Kate fall out of the corner of my eye.

'Stupid Stupid Stupid' I thought to myself. I knew this happened on occasion with her. I should've been Watching her more.

"Kate" I ran over to her and started checking for her pulse. it was still there, which I was grateful for because at least it meant she was still alive.

"What's wrong with her?" Princeton asked. Oh crap, I can't let them find out what it means....

See, since Kate is being, uhm,  well, abused, the pain of her body sometimes catches up with Her and gets to her mind. The bad part is, she doesn't know why it happens and she doesn't ever remember when it happens to her.

I looked around and I saw all of Mindless Behavior and Zoey looking down at her.  And all that could run through my mind is:

'Oh crap. This isn't good. This isn't good. This isn't good. I've got to get her out of here, now . '

"Uhm, you see, she's just tired."

'That's it!! Just go with it!!' I thought to myself.

"Yea. She's been studying really hard for all of our tests and stuff, so I guess it just caught up with her. Nothing to worry about." I faked a smile, hoping they would but it.

They all looked a bit skeptical, but eventually gave in.

All except Princeton. The look on his face told me he didnt buy it not one bit.

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Ray asked, and i had to think about if that was safe. I eventually decided it was.

"Yea. Its probably time for us to go, so if you guys can help us take her and our stuff to my car that would be really helping us out."

"Ok"

Princeton was the closest to her, so he picked her up bridal style in his arms and waited for us to gather our stuff before we headed to my car.

Once we got Kate laying on the back seat and all of the stuff in the trunk, me and Zoey looked back at the guys.

"Thanks for the help." Zoey said, flashing another smile at them.

"No problem." Prod said, giving her a smile right back.

"What are you guys about to do now?" Roc asked, coming back over to my side and grabbing my waist.

"After i drop Zoey off, Me and Kate are going back to my house. Why?" I asked nervously.

"Would it be to much to ask if we could come with you guys?" Ray questioned, and in my mind I was screaming

YES

YES

YES!!!!!!!

But I do know how much Kate would love me if I let the guys hang for a bit, and what's the worse that can happen?

So, reluctantly I said:

"I'll give you guys 10 minutes to get your stuff in your car and meet us back here."
