London 1 Week Later

Trinity's POV

"Trinity!"

My eyes were blurry as I heard someone call my name. I lift my head up and realize I'm in my bedroom.

"Trinity!" Oh God, I'm coming Aunt Jo.

I check my iHome on my bedside table and see that it's 5:30 in the morning. Why on earth was she waking me up so early?

I lazily get up from the bed, and I put my slippers on once I sit straight on the side of my bed. I stretch a little then take all the strength out of me and finally get out of bed.

I walk down the soft carpeted stairs and into the sun-lit kitchen where my Aunt Josie was making pancakes.

I pushed myself up on the counter.

"Good Morning Aunt Jo." I said as I looked up at the ceiling.

"Good Morning Trinity." She said with a nice smile. "I called you up this early because we need to talk. About your future. " I was a bit worried on what she had to say, but I was just paying attention to her thick British accent the whole time.

"Oh okay," I said as I got off the counter and sat on one of the high chairs next to it.

"Look Sweetie, I love you, and you know that, but we have some serious topics to bring up."

Great, I know exactly what she's going to say.

"I'm your guardian for another nine months or so, since what happened to your parents."

I felt tears coming from my eyes, and I felt a lump in my throat, but I'm brave and strong, and I can't do that, especially not in front if Aunt Jo.

So let me tell you what happened to my family before I go on telling you what Aunt Jo had to say.

My older sister Meredith came to London a month ago. She never came back home. She was killed, but no the police here in the UK closed the case after two weeks when they couldn't find who killed her. A week later, my mom committed suicide, unable to live a life knowing she wasn't with her favorite daughter. My father, well he died when I was very young, and I never talked to my mom about him, she never enjoyed the topic of our dad.

So, my whole family was gone in less than a month, and I was forced to come live with Aunt Josie as she was my mother's sister and etc.

I was pretty upset about the whole "traumatic experience," but I couldn't just mourn about it in my room in New York City all day.

I had to find who killed my sister, because I sure as hell wasn't going to let the person live their life after hurting the closest person to me.

"So after everything that's been happening, you really need to settle here in Bedfordingham. It's where you'll be until I don't have you as my child anymore. You need to get a job or go to school, it's your choice. I'm here to guide you into the right path."

Then the doorbell rang, right when I opened my mouth to reply.

"One second sweetie." She moved from the stove and headed towards the door. I walked around the counter and put the pancakes on a plate. I headed towards the fridge and took out the orange juice.

"So you're Trinity Brooks..." I turned around to see a guy about my age, in a tight black shirt and jeans, leaning on the counter.

... Shit. This boy was beautiful. But he looks like trouble...
