Crushed

Chapter 2

We were all walking towards the track, I was with my little group of friends as usual.

Ezekiel, my best friend and I, were stuck in our own conversation. We were talking about what happened in 2nd period.

"So, I was just staring at the clock, and my teacher just thought, 'oh, let's see if Hayden is paying attention, maybe get him in trouble.'"

"That's why you pay attention in class, dude."

"That doesn't help." I said, in an annoyed tone.

"Well, let's focus on something else. We all know you've had your eye on that 6th grader that's walking with Brooke."

"I don't know what your talking about. That's not even true."

"We all know it, Hayden."

"But it's not true."

"You don't have to act all cool with us. Just tell us. We see you at track."

"I'm telling the truth..."

"Fine."

Just when I thought he was done with it, he called her name. Then, I freaked.

"Hey!! Samantha!!!"

(Samantha POV)

I'm walking with Brooke and some other friends, when I hear my name being screamed out. I recognized that voice.

"Hey!! Samantha!!"

I turn around to notice that Ezekiel is waving his hand indicating for me to come over. So I do.

"Hey, Brooke, I'll be right back." She just nodded her head with a smile.

I get over to Ezekiel and notice that Hayden is right there. So I play it cool.

"What's up?"

"This boy right here, Hayden, likes you." He says that as I see Hayden look away with his hand on the back of his neck.

"There is no way on Earth."

"But it's true."

"Hayden..."

He turns back around. "Yes?"

"Is it true?"

"No.." He states defensively.

"Told you, Ezekiel."

"But he's lying." He said in a pouty way.

I run over to my friends. "What happened?" Brooke asked.

"Ezekiel trying to say that Hayden has a crush on me. Haha, not falling for that."

"Aww, I see it!! #Sayden " She screamed a little to loud.

"BROOKE!!!!!!" I scream at her. But just as I did, we were at the track.

We all put our belongings down, and walked to the middle of the track.

"Boys this way" (left) "Girls that way" (right)

So, me and my friends, along with the rest of the girls, start running to the right.

I run along the edge so it can go by faster. I enjoy track, anyways, but I always do that.

About 2 minutes later, we come across Hayden, Ezekiel, and their little group.

On the flip side, I'm actually really disappointed rn so sorry if this chapter was rly bad.
I'm disappointed because one of my favorite singers of all time time,  Avicii, has now died at the young age of 28 years old. I'm going to add a couple of his songs.

Those were some of my favorite songs. I hope you listened to them. Avicii was such a talented artist. Now he's gone.
