It sounded crazy to quit a job in order to foster a little girl, but I kind of felt responsible for taking away the chance of living the rest of her life with her family.

"Mr. Kim," The police officer said, letting a breath out. "I'm asking you for the last time," He paused for a bit. "Are you sure?"

"Yes," I replied without any hesitation.

Do you want to hear the truth? Well, to be honest, I wasn't really sure about this. My stupid heart was taking over my brain. It's going to be rough to foster a little girl who probably hates you for being the cause of her parents' death.

The doctor turned his face at the police officer. "Don't worry, officer," He said, trying to reassure him. "I know Mr. Kim. He's one of the greatest men that I've ever seen in my entire life,"

The officer took a deep breath, "I'll leave the rest of the work to the court," He walked towards the door, putting his hand on the knob. "And, Mr. Kim," He opened the door. "I have friends in the court, so I'll talk to them to have your back in there," He left the room.

"I still can't believe that you're going to quit your job," The doctor said.

"This is for the best," I said, closing my eyes. "Most importantly, this is what I want,"

Without saying anything, the doctor and the nurse left the room, and right after them, the boys walked in.

"So," Namjoon started a conversation, "What took them so long?"

"Nothing," I replied.

"I can tell that he's up to something," Yoongi whispered in Hoseok's ear, clear enough for me to hear.

"Yes, I am," I said. "And that's kicking your ass off!"

"Why so much violence?" Yoongi asked, widening his eyes.

"Mind your own business, okay?"

Namjoon looked at each one of them, meaning that he wants them to leave or pretend that they don't hear us, talking. He walked closer towards my bed. "You never talk like this unless you're mad or something,"

"I'm not mad," I said, letting a breath out. "I'm just... thinking,"

"Thinking?" Namjoon asked, looking down at me. "What does that suppose to mean?"

"I'm going to be a foster father,"

"WHAT?!" They all asked surprisingly, turning their faces at me as they were confused.

"I thought that you are minding your own business," I said to Yoongi, teasing him.

"Wait a second," Taehyung was lost in thoughts. "Does this mean that I'll be a foster uncle?"

Jungkook turned his face at Jimin. "Do you think that I should let my followers know about this?"

I just sighed, and started thinking about my damn fate.

It's been a few months since that car accident.

Namjoon and Jungkook went after that little girl to take her in my house. The rest of the boys and I were waiting for their arrival.

The stress that I was having was feeding on me. I didn't know how to treat a child. Although I always used to deal with patients -including kids-, this was kind of different, because I was going to be her foster father.

Maybe, she hates me, but I don't care, because staying at my house is much more better than staying at an orphanage or something.

I'll try my best to make her like me.

Come on, Seokjin! You were once a doctor! It's not going to be harder than saving people's lives, right?

Jimin walked towards the window, searching for Namjoon's car through the streets. Suddenly, he shouted, "THEY'RE HERE!"

To be continued...
