There is something so calming about the air in her presence.
Something oh so calming.
It's cold outside but I am warm.
With kindness, love, and admiration, she starts the fire within me.
This burning urge to love and be loved like no other.
In a time of hot chocolate nights, brisk chills,
and all those tiny little lights.
All that I long for is to be within the wrap of those arms. Gifted.
As if she were given to me at midnight, my very first present to be unveiled as the most important.
Because she is very important. I marvel at the beauty beneath the skin just as I did when I saw the beauteous wrap,
and as she opens up what lies beneath is nothing short of perfection.
She was what I've been wishing for.
The only thing I've been wishing for.
I no longer ask for anything when the birds fly south.
I only want to watch them in awe as they flock alongside the best present of all.
These birds will forever symbolize the many blessings that came when she showed up...
And there are oh so many birds these days.
