On November 11th, 2016, Luna Grande came into this world. It was a shock to everyone, considering no one was aware of Ariana's pregnancy. After the Grammy's, Ariana has disappeared off of social media. Pregnancy rumors didn't start until Ariana was around the third trimester considering she wasn't in a relationship.
Ariana returned to social media with a simple picture of her newborn daughter captioned with an explanation as to why she kept her pregnancy a secret.
Ariana never told anyone the father of her beautiful daughter. Not her mother, her best friend, her daughter, or even the father himself.
It was obvious to Ariana who the father was. She knew Luna belonged to Brendon. Every time she looked at her daughters dark hair and big brown eyes, she was reminded of him. However, this didn't make Ariana love her daughter any less, in fact, she was almost certain she had the most beautiful daughter in the whole world. But Luna's big brown eyes were just a reminder of what she couldn't have.
No, she never told Brendon about their daughter. She couldn't. She wasn't being selfish, she was protecting him. She didn't want to ruin his life by making him be in his daughters life after hearing him say countless times how much he didn't want children. Now that, that, would be selfish.
Beside, Ariana and Luna were just fine.
Throughout Luna's life, Ariana never posted many pictures of her for the fear someone would compare her to the lead singer of Panic! At The Disco.
In a few months, Luna would turn two. And in the two years of her life, her mother has only posted seven pictures of her. It's not that she was ashamed of her daughter. She loved her. She had thousands on pictures of her on her phone that she was dying to share with the millions of followers she had, but she couldn't. She wouldn't do that to Brendon.
Every time Ariana would post a picture of Luna on her instagram, the fans would go crazy. Comments filed in saying "She looks just like you!" "Luna is so cute!!" and "You're such a good mommy!" But there was also the inevitable question's that were commented the most. "Ari, will you ever tell us who the father is?" and "Luna looks familiar, I just can't pinpoint it."
Which made Ariana a nervous wreck and led to her posting even less about Luna. She couldn't be the reason of ruining Brendon's career.
"Mom! Will you dress Luna? I need to shower." I called from Luna's bedroom.
"Of course dear." My mother responded while coming up the stairs. "C'mon Lou, lets go get dressed and leave mommy alone for a bit." She smiled while picking Luna up and carrying her towards her closet.
I picked myself up off the floor and walked towards my bathroom. I turned the shower on and undressed while I waited for it to heat up.
As I showered I thought about how lucky I am to have the people in my life that I do. I know how much my family and friends are dying to know who Luna's father is, they've respected my wishes to stop asking. They all love Luna as much as I do and they help out as much as the can. It's only Luna and I in my house, but I know my mother is only a phone call away.
I took a longer shower than anticipated. I had probably been in there for about 45 minutes. I had had enough alone time and was ready to play as much as Luna wanted. I got dressed and went to the counter to pick my phone up. When my screen lit up I saw hundreds on notifications. That's weird. I thought. I hadn't posted anything. I scrolled through them until I reached the first one that started all of the ones after.

I clicked on the notification and waited patiently while the picture and caption loaded. I smiled when my daughter popped up on my screen.
