Ariana's POV:

"Baby, I'm so sorry. I didn't know this picture was going to bring pain." My mother said while hugging me.

"It's not your fault. How could you have known?" I said while pulling back. "Besides, I should've told you a long time ago who Luna's father was."

"Yes, you should have." She nodded. "But I understand where you were coming from. It's a mother's instinct to protect her children. And that's what you were doing. Protecting Luna."

"Yeah, I guess. I just don't know what to do. I can't ruin Brendon's life. I mean, everyone knows Brendon doesn't want kids. He's said that millions of times. I won't do that to him."

"I love you, but don't you think that's his choice to make?" She asked quietly.

I didn't have time to answer her valid question, which I was immensely grateful for. I felt Luna tugging at my shorts, begging me to pick her up.

"Mama." She said while throwing her arms up.

I smiled and leaned down to pick her up. Holding my whole world in my hands.

"I love you, Lou." I whispered while kissing her head.

"I think I'm going to go lay Luna down for a nap, we can continue this conversation later." I stated, already halfway up the stairs.

I willed myself to stop thinking about Brendon for a while. He hasn't been in my life the past two years, he shouldn't be in it now. All that matters is that Luna is safe.

Brendon's POV:

"Are you sure you remember where she lives?" Zack asked. "It's been two years."

"Yes. We went to her place after the Grammy's. I remember where it is. Drive faster." I answered.

If you couldn't already tell, we were on our way to Ariana's house. I was determined to get some answers.

While on the way, I scrolled through Ariana's instagram page, trying to find all the pictures I could of Luna.

The longer I stared at her face, the more obvious it became. She had my dark hair and my eyes. This was my daughter.

But why didn't Ariana tell me about her?

Ariana's POV:

"She asleep?" My mother asked while I walked back down the stairs.

"Yeah, I think I'm going to go write for a little bit. With everything that's happened surely I could make a song out of it." I laughed.

Just as I started to walk towards my at home studio, I heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." I offered, considering it was my home.

I walked over to the door, grimacing at the hard knocks that kept coming from it. If this person wakes up my daughter, their putting her back to sleep.

I quickly opened the door, ready to give the unknown person a piece of my mind.

"Can you keep it do-" I started, but cut myself off when the unknown knocker was revealed.

"Brendon? What are you doing here?"
