𝐈 𝐒𝐀𝐓 in alice's car as we trailed behind isabella's truck. we just heard what she said to her father, charlie. i mean i understand the urgency that was needed in order to lead the tracker away from here but she didn't have to be so vindictive. we arrived at the house, all of us rushing inside. we're stopped, however, when laurent walks outside. Edward goes to lunge at him but carlisle stops him with a hand on his shoulder.
"he came to warn us about james." we all turn to laurent who looks at us nervous but determined.
"ive grown tired of his games. but he's got unparalleled senses. absolutely lethal. ive never seen anything like him in three hundred years." his eyes shift to me as he says his next words "... and the woman, victoria, don't underestimate her." he looks at us all one last time before speeding away.
we make it to a garage and meet esme, rose, emmett and jasper. rose immediately starts rummaging through the cabinets grabbing supplies - cell phones, extra batteries, maps, and cans of gas. i sit on the counter with a sigh as they load up the vehicles
"ive had to fight our kind before. we're hard to kill." edward chimes in, "but not impossible. we'll tear him up." emmett speaks up with some bloodlust and a smirk "we'll rip him apart with our hands, then burn the pieces."
