They know where we are. How? I jump up and run to Andrew,
"they know where we are. We have to leave now."
He jumps up and we tap the brick the walls open and I see Mack still wrapped in Conner's arms,
"get out now! Grab your weapons we have to go!" I yell at them. They stand up and b their things. Mack puts her swords on her back holder for them to make an X and Conner grabs his sheathe and puts it over his shoulder and get his gun then they put on their cloaks and we leave. We step out of the alley and the streets are vacant. We start to casually fast walk through downtown and winds pick up making our cloaks blow in the wind exposing our uniforms. I reach for my gun and click the safety off and keep it in my hand as we walk and I check my map to find somewhere to go. There is no where to go. We will have to find some where on our way. I hear boots coming towards us and I start to run not thinking of where the sound is coming from my team follows we turn the corner and I stop and bring my arms up to stop my team from running into the wall of soldiers and one shoots me in my right hip the blow spins me to face my team and I fall to the ground. I grab it with my free hand to try to stop the flow of blood. Conner and Andrew step in front of me to protect me and Mack stays behind them because she can't sword fight them from here.
"Ann!" she bends down to me I hand her my gun and say,
"here, fight." she takes the gun, nods, and then steps in beside Conner. I hear multiple shots and I look up at Andrew who turns his head down to me and I was going to say, "win the war for me." and as soon as I form my lips to say the words my eyes close and I pass out from the loss of blood and pain in my hip.
