WHERE ARE WE?????

Akuma's P.O.V

I woke up how I usually did. Being aware that I had to do something, but refusing to actually move.

I opened my eyes and became extremely confused with my surroundings. I was laying on the grass, with trees above me. However, it looked like it was out of a cartoon. That puzzled me.

"WHAT THE HELL?????!!!!!"

I covered my ears hearing my screeching sister. I picked myself up and found the source of the yelling. There was Akira, looking at her reflection in a river. However, there was something different about her. She was shorter, and her hair was shorter. Wait.

I shuffled to the river, now wanting to scream myself. I looked like a 7-year-old anime character! My mouth dropped from this discovery and was hugged tightly by Akira.

"Thank god you're here! I thought I lost you!" She wailed as she hung onto me.

I gave her a blank expression as I pushed her away. "Please, no."

She pouted as she sat down. The pout looked more effective now since she was younger again. "Do you have any idea why and how we're here? And why we look so young and like anime characters?"

The only thing I could do was shrug.

Akira was unsatisfied. "That's it?! Akuma, we're stuck in a fucking anime world! I think."

I did my signature raise-one-eyebrow-that-creeps-Akira-out look. "Are you sure?"

"Look at us."

I rubbed a temple and suddenly had an idea. "Why don't we explore?"

Akira furrowed her brows. "Are you dumb? We could starve out here! It's better to wait here and have someone find us."

I slouched. I wanted to look around. Maybe find some cool scenic views. But Akira was right. It was better to stay put. I sat next to her on the riverbank, and we stayed in complete silence for a while.

Now it was broken. "What do we do now?" I asked as she spaced out. I looked at her and saw her staring at something. I moved my position and followed her eyes to see what she was taken aback by, and there I saw it.

Sitting on a tree branch, was the Chunin Iruka, facing away from us.

"What do we d-"

"Ssshhh!!"

Akira's shushing, however, caught Iruka's attention. I facepalmed as he teleported in front of us.

Akira held onto my arm, squeezing it so hard that my circulation felt like it was going to be cut off.

Iruka's P.O.V

The girls in front of me looked like they were sisters, twins in fact, but as innocent too. I was on a mission of my own- I had no class to teach today. However, stumbling on these girls made me rethink the purpose of the mission itself.

Your mission is special, Iruka. Only one you can carry out."

The old man confused me. "But why me?"

The Hokage chuckled, taking another puff of smoke. "I've found two interesting eggs, but they've been taken from their coop. They need guidance when they hatch, which will occur in a very short time now. Go, and bring them here."

Those were his words, and I understood them now. This was what he wanted me to do. Escort these girls to the village and bring them to the Hokage.

It probably would be easier than I thought, since the one with glasses loosened her grip and stood up, a new persona being displayed.
