The next morning, my voice is completely gone. Somehow Zayn managed to make me hit high notes I didnt even know existed. I smile as I recollect the events of the evening before.

Rosie has already thanked me a million times for saving her reputation. I keep trying to tell her that it was no problem but my gestures are not enough for her to understand so I drag Jamal around as my personal translator.

"Wait so she can't talk at all?" Louis asks, a mischievous look in his eyes.

"Guess that performance took a lot out of you." says Liam.

"I think it was the other performance that got her like this, eh Lydia?" says Louis, smirking. I slap his arm hard.

"OWWWW! She can't even talk, yet she's still so mean." He whines. I smile triumphantly.

"So anyways we have a meet and greet today so everyone best be prepared and on your best behaviors." announces Harry.

"Alright, mum, whatever you say." Niall says, throwing a crumpled piece of paper at Harry.

Everyone gets ready to leave for the meet and greet. Brooklyn and Rosie decide to stay in the hotel room and watch movies. I put on a peach-colored blouse with gold buttons and some high waisted white shorts.

The meet and greet is long. The boys are exhausted but they keep their composure, signing autographs left and right, taking photos, and also participating in some lovely banter with the fans. They really are such hard workers when it comes to pleasing the fans.

My eyes scan the crowd. They're all so excited and the energy in the room is a pleasant buzz. I continue my cursory glance until my eyes fall on the people at the very end of the line. A small teenage girl is there with a man whom I assume is her father. The girl is smiling and chatting with the other fans while the father stands a little bit behind her, his face uninterested in the chaos around him. They seem normal but I feel like they don't really belong here.

I wave and take a couple photos with the fans. They relentlessly ask me question after question about Zayn until security has to escort them away. I giggle and look around the room to find that the weird girl and her father are the only ones left in the room.

She keeps her head down, her eyes covered by the baseball cap she's wearing. I have a bad feeling about this. Niall steps forward first.

"Hey, I'm -" I push Niall out of the way and lean back as the secret blade in her hand slashes upward. The man next to her throws a knife at the door, jamming it closed.

"My, my, you are quite quick. Your reputation precedes you. Tell me how did you see me?" She finally looks up and the look in her eyes is all too familiar. She's a mercenary.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" She smiles coldly.

"Oh please. Don't flatter yourself, sweetheart. You're not that scary." Jamal says, his body tense. He's slowly pushing the boys back towards the door.

"Your guard dog has a smart mouth. He won't be so smart when I rip out his tongue." She tells me.

"What do you guys want? I'm sure we can come to an agreement." Liam says.

"Shut up, Wonder Boy! This does not concern you."

"Wonder Boy? What kind of a comeback is that? So cheesy." Louis says, scowling at her.

She takes a step closer to them but I step in her way.

"I see the only way to them is through you." She steps back and switches places so that the man is in front of me and she's in front of Jamal. The boys are further back behind us towards the middle.
