Chapter 3

Just real quick before this chapter starts! I am in the middle of school, yes I get out in May but I also have state testing in May, I try to write in class when I have my laptop which isn't all the time. I also have field trips I'm going to and I don't have time to keep up with my group and writing on my phone so please be patient! I will write more when I'm on summer break. Enjoy this chapter!

John's POV

I looked over at Lafayette as he walked away. I instantly knew what happened. I couldn't be even happier, well like I feel bad for Lafayette but hey, that means I have a chance! I turned to Y/n to see her with a puzzled expression. "Hey, listen to the music." It was y/n f/a. ((favourite artists/singer)) She nevet stopped talking about him/her. I smiled as I saw her singing and dancing to the music. She wasn't the best singer at the moment due to her having to shout it, but besides that..she was a beautiful singer. I laughed a bit as the music transitioned into slow music. "O-oh, looks like your favorite song is over.." I said lightly blushing as I looked away. Next thing I knew y/n grabbed my hands as she smiled hugging me and from there we began slow dancing. From the corner of my eye I could see Alexander who was visibly mad. Eliza had to distract Alexander. After the song was over I was tackled by Alex.

"Alex! What are you doing?!" y/n shouted. Honestly I wasn't surprised a teacher didn't notice. Alexander was yellling and cussing me out. Eliza tried taking him off of me. After a while y/n and Eliza got him off of me. Eliza was scolding Alexander while y/n was tending to me.

"I'm okay y/n. Don't worry about me." I said with a soft smile taking both her hands into mine. I saw a faint blush on her as she looked away. I chuckled a bit. "Hey, thanks for being my friend and all..maybe we could be more than freinds?" I asked smiling at her.

"I'd love that!" she said happily hugging me.

"Yea now we're best friends!" I said smiling. There was no way i was going to ask her out like this. Suddenly Alexander came over frowning and clearly pissed off. 

"Don't touch my sister!" he shouted angry. I sighed nodding. Of course i wasn't going to listen to him and i'd still hang out with her.

"Alex stop! I can dance and be friends with whoever I want! It's not like you can stop me when i finally get married!" y/n stated making a point. Alexander bit down on his lip angirly. He stormed off with Eliza somewhere else. y/n sighed and apologized to me multipul times but i kept telling her not to. Finally the night ended and I noticed Y/n wasn't going home with Alex.

"Hey..what's wrong?" I asked her patting her back sitting next to her outside.

Y/n POV

I was sitting outside slightly pissed as I kicked at the ground and suddenly heard John asking what was wrong as he patted my back. "Nothing, I just hate how my brother is so over protective!" I slightly shouted. "I'm not even going to go home. I'd rather be out all night." I was just so...AUGH! My thoughts were interrupted by John who had then began speaking again.

"You could always crash at my place y/n" John said looking over at me before pulling me into a hug. "We can leave now if you'd like as well." John said looking me in the eyes now.

"I'd like that" I said in a soft voice as John got up taking his coat off and wrapping it around me now holding his hand out to me. I took his hand getting up staying close to him. We were silent the whole ride to his house. When we got there we started talking more and more.

John POV

"Hey Y/N I was thinking.." was this it? Was I really going to confess to her now? My heart was racing and my face was read and hot.

"What is it?" Y/N asked placing her hand on my forehead asking if i had a fever.

"Never mind, I'm fine.." I said getting up and sighing looking down at Y/N now. "You should get some rest. You can sleep in my room tonight." I said smiling softly now.

"Thanks John.." Y/N said hugging me before I would lead her to my room and turn off the lights for her as soon as she was tucked in. "I'll be in the living room if you need something." I told her smiling before shutting the door. I took a deep breath and smiled.

"I'll tell her some day.."
