After running as fast as I could to my math class, I made it just in time. I quickly went to my seat after panting heavily from all the running I've been doing so far this morning. In school, I was a wallflower. I usually didn't volunteer to do anything unless I was called on. Anyways, as I was working on my first math worksheet for the morning, I got called up by my teacher.

"Acacia, I need to see you."

Shit, did I forget to turn in my homework?

"Umm... Yes, Mr. Kade?" I asked nervously as I got up to his desk.

"It seems to be your --" Mr. Kade was interuptted when someone walked in to the classroom.

"Ahh! Just in time Jake. Anyways, Acacia, your math grade seems to be dropping rapidly.." Mr. Kade had said quietly.

"Ok... What can I do to raise it? Do you have extra--"

"Acacia, I'm having Jake tutor you so you can raise it."

"WHAT?!" Jake and I yelled at the same time. This was the first time he's spoken since he got here, and I took note of that.

"Out of all people, why me?!" he exclaimed.

"Jake you have the highest math grade in the whole entire junior year! Why not you?"

"Maybe because I have a life and I don't have enough time to tutor her," he exclaimed.

        "Wow, rude much?" I scoffed.

"Jake, you're tutoring her every day after school. End of discussion."

        "Ugh, fine," Jake groaned.

"You may go back to your seat Acacia, and you may go back to class now Jake."

Before Jake left, I decided to have some fun.

"So where are you going to tutor me, Jake?" I asked as loud and obnoxiously as I could.

"My house. After school." Jake gritted his teeth while I had a wicked grin on my house. Jake left the classroom with a red face while I went back to my seat, with everyone laughing at him.

*After School*

"Are you ready?" Jake asked grumpily.

"Ready as I'll ever be," I grumbled. We walked to his red Mercedes and climbed in to go to his house.

As we were driving to his house, he asked, "Why did you do that?"

        "Do what?" I asked curiously.

"You know, embarass me in front of your class?" he asked very quickly.

"Because you kind of deserve it.. You know what happened this morning when I was running to get to my class?"

        "I KNEW IT!!"

        "Knew what?"

"That you were the girl in the hallway! Oh my god! This will be the best story to tell everyone to embarrass you!"
