A/N: Sorry for both the short and late update

Weekends tend to be boring. We don't have to do actual academic classes and the uniforms are optional, so nobody does anything exciting. We only do a few hours of our majoring subjects, so we are left with a pretty big chunk of time to do whatever we want. On a usual basis we gather in Tahlia's room and fangirl over Harry Potter, BTS (kpop), Percy Jackson etc., oh and if you're Gen, Doctor Who. Yes, we know you love David Tennant Gen, you don't need to remind us every 5 minutes. Anyway, it was around midday on Sunday when my peaceful sleep was interrupted by an obnoxious knock at the door followed by 'KOOKIE'. Both clear indications that it was Tahlia, even though she knows how much I love a good midday sleep in on Sundays. Looking like total shit and feeling sluggish, I stumbled towards the door and opened it to see a very excited V (Tahlia) standing in front of my door clapping her hands like a maniac.

'What do you want?' I grumbled, tired.

'You to lighten up a bit!' she replied laughing. 'No. You need to get changed, and maybe brush your hair, and come downstairs!' V added smiling like a kid who had just been given a ton of lollies (it aint no candy u Americans).

'Whyyyyy' I whined.

'Lou's moving in!' she squealed. 'Her mum is going to Europe for a while and Lou wanted to stay so she's letting her board!'. Lou's mum (yet again it aint no mom u Americans) had never been keen on boarding as it has always been expensive, and she's had no need for it, until now that is. I huffed in exhaustion and forced myself downstairs to help Lou and her mum get her stuff into room 506, which was just down the hall from mine (512). Lauren finally snaked out of her room after the hours of moving all of Lou's things. What she was doing in there, nobody knows. I swear nobody has really been in there... its probably just filled with Slytherin things and Draco Malfoy. Anyway, we all collapsed onto Lou's bed, exhausted, who knew she had so much stuff. I looked into the sea of black that was her stuff and said 'Casual'. Then suddenly we, as in Lou and I, screamed as Sam bust through the door which sent a crack of laughter bursting through the door.

'TO BREAKFAST' she yelled as we followed her out into the hallway and down the stairs to the meal hall. Along the way a few seniors told us to quote 'SHUT THE FUCK UP!' as the large group of us slowly made our way to get food. Being me, I decided to skip the food and go straight for the caffeine. I decided to try and avoid running into any teachers because they quite honestly despise me and how I work. The only one who doesn't really care is my art teacher, Ms Scott. Taking a seat at our usual table we talked about our new teachers and what we've done so far this term. Sadly, my coffee only lasted 10 minutes so I could no longer cherish the beautiful taste of caffeine but who needs caffeine when your best friend is Tahlia. Although breakfast was long over, we still had bacon and eggs, and OJ for anyone that doesn't like coffee. We talked so much that Lou was able to fully unpack and setup her room and come back down for dinner. As I said weekends are boring. That was until we saw, 'Arts Idol'. For anyone that doesn't know, Arts Idol is the talent show that only boarders can participate in. It's all just a bunch of people bragging about getting a good mark in their majoring subject/s and showing off what they did to everyone. Per usual, the first page was filled with freshies and seniors. Barely any people from grades in between choose to participate in it. That was until I saw it, scribbled in terrible hand writing towards the end of the page was 'Nat and friends'. Great. Now we have to do 'Arts idol'. Not again.

'Nat, what's the deal!' I all most yelled when I turned around to the table.

'Huh?' she responded lamely.

'Arts Idol! REALLY!?' Lou screeched.

'I thought maybe we could do like the 'Great Ship Debate' in real life or something' she logically responded.

'Ok so like reading poetry and stories that we write at Writers Club will get us the win' Gen said putting all the sarcasm into her half-terrified response.

'Hey maybe it will be fun' said our little ray of sunshine and positivity, Tahlia.

'Yeah, no' I replied vigorously shaking my head. But I didn't mind the idea of 'The Great Ship Debate' in real life idea. I mean we all shipped each other, for gods sake Tequalia (Tahlia (Tequila) and Talia) and Miv are like #1 ships of the century in our group.

'Oh come on!' Tahlia budged shaking me. 'Nat has worked so hard on 'The Great Ship Debate', we all should finally perform it in front of people!' She added.

'Fine' the lot of us groaned in full misery. It was then that Tahlia started clapping her hands like a lunatic and started bouncing around the room like a Weirdo! (At the Disco (oh yes I did)) what an adventure this will be...
