Mari's P.O.V.
The next day at school I went to my friend Nichole. I wanted to tell her bout what happened last night. I wanted to tell her how I feel. I wanted to tell her but I told Darien I wouldn't tell anyone. Ehhh... Telling one person wont hurt. It's not like shes gonna tell everyone. I continued looking for Nicole as I walked in the halls. "Nichole! Come here! I gotta talk to you!" I shouted as I spotted her across the hall. she came running toward me and I grabbed her arm and pulled her in to the locker room.
"So you remember how you left me with Darien and Brennt. Well something happened after you left." I paused for a moment to see if she would say anything.
"Was it with Darien?" she asked.
"Mhmmm....We kissed. Then when i was walking home he walked with me and held my hand. DON'T TELL ANYONE! But I was so nervous. I think I like him... I mean like whats not to like about him? He's nice, cute, kind, has a nice personality, plus he's Dominican! And you know I have a thing for Dominicans," I exstinguished.
"Whoa, Mari slow down. mind you he's a player. Dont get too attached please i dont want you to get hurt." She implied.
"Okay i won't. I'll keep my distance." I replied. but what she didn't know was that i was already attached. I had a feeling that he wouldn't hurt me. Something inside me told me he liked me back. so I went with what I felt. I tried to keep my feelings to myself. Nicole and i walked out the locker room and into the lunchroom. We saw Darien, and Brennt. Nicole ran to Darien and out came the secret.
"Darien! I heard you and Mari kissed after I left!"
