Mari's P.O.V
I knew he was still mad but I didn't know he was this mad. I guess I have to fix it. But im going to have to be secretive about it. I'll tell to him tomorrow. "Mari go to sleep it 12:00 already you have school!" My mom screamed from her room.
"Ok Mami!" I screamed back. Oh my goodness it's already 12 I been thinking for along time. Oh well I gotta sleep. I only see him in the morning and sometimes after school. Plus through the halls. Guess I gotta try in the morning. Ugh I hate mornings. Oh well time for sleep.
***Next Morning***
"Beep! Beep! Bee-!" My alarm went off and it was 6:45 got 30 minutes to get ready and be out by 7:30. I jumped out of my bed and took out my uniform. Burgundy polo and khakis. But for me I had the polo and regular ripped jeans. I shouldn't get in too much trouble. It's just no uniform pants. What they gonna do, give me lunch detention? I hopped in the shower. I finished putting my clothes on and went back in the bathroom. I blow dried my hair so it wasn't wet. My hair is naturally straight so I just blow dried it. I brushed my teeth and fixed my self up a little more. It was 7:20 by the time I was finished. I woke my mom and brothers up for school and work. By then it was 7:28 so I grabbed my north face sweater and my Adidas book bag then began walking. It took me about 15 minutes to get to school. Which gave me enough time to think of how to approach him. When I walked into the cafeteria I saw some of my friends and Darien and his friends. I chose to say hi to my friends first.
"Hey Mari,"said. Braulio, Mariah, and Luis.
"Hey guys,"I said I gave them hugs. "Mariah you wanna come with me to say hi to Darien and his friends?" I asked
"Sure, let's go baby girl," she replied. We walked to his class' table calmly. I saw Darien and his 4 best friends.
"Hey guy," Mariah and I said.
"Hey girls," They replied all at the same time. Me and Mariah began giggling. They just looked at us like we're weird. We sat down and I was next to Darien.
"Hey can I talk to you?" I said in a low voice.
"Ok let's talk by the room near the bathrooms," he said as we got up and walked towards the room near the front by the bathroom. "Ok what you wanna talk about?"
"Are you still mad at me?" I asked
"No, why?" He replied
"You been actin kinda weird since we started talking."I replied.
"Oh it's just- nothing." He cut off
"Umm ok but I gotta tell you something."
