For once, she had a dream. An extremely clear one.

In it, she was a player in a game show, and the host was loudly and flashily announcing the game and rules the contestants would have to follow as a strangely familiar, yet very annoying theme song played in the background.

She looked around and saw that there were two other contestants, but their faces and bodies were shrouded in shadow, their grey-ness contrasting greatly against the bright, multi-colored surroundings.

In front of her was a small wooden podium that was built into the floor of the stage, and a giant flashing wheel was located directly across from her. On the wheel, several numbers and words were flashing, filled with strange things such as "Western Fantasy", "Hollywood", and "Zombie Apocalypse 4 Lyfe".

She didn't quite understand what they meant, but from the setting, she assumed the words were probably discussing different themed parks. The "Hollywood" one was easy, it was probably a trip to Hollywood or some other similarly related entertainment industry site, "Western Fantasy" probably referred to some sort of Disney World, and "Zombie Apocalypse 4 Lyfe".... She wasn't really sure what that one was, but it probably wasn't anything that she'd find particularly pleasant.

Angela hated horror films. She hated them with a passion. Especially zombies. For some reason, she didn't particularly mind ghosts, but zombies? There was no way she'd willingly go somewhere even remotely related to them. Maybe if she got that, she could give her tickets to her stone-faced boss.

Secretly, of course. If she gave them to him directly, who knows how many different ways she would die due to the glares she'd receive from the others in the company.

"Angela Li!"

"E-eh?!" Startled out of her thoughts, Angela looked up to meet the gaze of the bizarrely dressed host. At first glance, he appeared to be a clown, but his patchwork clothes and makeup seemed too carefully done to fit that description. For one, his makeup wasn't done so extravagantly that it clearly portrayed any emotion. On top of that, because of the brim of his large patchwork top hat casting an extremely dark shadow, you couldn't even see his eyes!

"You're up!" The host smiled widely, exposing canines that seemed a bit too pointed at first glance, but when she looked again, there didn't seem to be anything special about them.

"U-um, sorry, I wasn't paying attention, what do I need to do?"

"No need to worry, my dear, just step right up to this red square here and the game will do the rest for you!" The host energetically replied in his booming voice.

Angela nodded and stepped around her podium to walk to the center of the stage.

On her way, she noticed that one of the other contestants had disappeared, to where, she had no idea. Meanwhile, the other contestant's gaze seemed to follow her, making her feel rather uneasy. Pushing down those feelings, she quickened her step and soon reached the red square that she then carefully stepped on, noting that she was still barefoot and wearing that same oversized T-shirt and shorts that she had worn in her apartment.

"Alright, Miss Angela, this won't take but a moment!" After that, the host pressed a button on a  switch in his hand and a light shot up from the red square, startling her.

With the light came a sensation as if she was engulfed in a soft, yet firm liquid, which quickly disappeared as the light faded away.

Feeling slightly violated, she shivered as she turned to the host, waiting for an explanation.

The host was now holding a card in his hand and reading it carefully, a few minutes later, he looked up again and smiled at her.

"Looks like someone's overdue for a more interesting life!" His smile widened as he continued, "According to your information card, not only are you a perfect candidate, but you also contain all the qualities to prevent you from going insane!"

"W-what?!" Angela momentarily lost her composure at the unexpected statement, staring at the host with her eyes wide in shock.

"Let's spin the wheel, shall we?"

"W-wait, what do you mean?!"

The host promptly spun the wheel using a lever to the side and grinned at her. "Naturally, your life is too boring, so it needs a bit of spicing up. Of course, that's my job!"

The wheel spun quickly, clicking as it did so, before finally stopping on one of the mystery wedges.

"Oooh, a fun one! looks like your trip will be randomized! Have fun!"

"Wait, what do you mean I won't go insane?!"

"See you later!" The host again ignored her, his smile spreading so wide it nearly reached his ears.

With that, the floor dropped out from under her and she fell screaming into darkness.
