Noah's POV:

He watched as she walked out of her house grumpily yet gracefully. He noticed how her hair was always swept back neatly into a dwarf ponytail. He noticed how her smooth skin glowed due to the sunlight. He noticed how her big blue eyes wondered about, searching for nothing in particular.

He noticed how sad her eyed looked. Carmen was meant to be perfect, she had always been perfect and that was why he loved her. He loved her because she hid her flaws well, he loved her for all the wrong reasons.

He watched as she walked slowly to her car, he saw as a tear slid down her beautiful face. He watched as she wiped it away and held her head high. He watched as she got in her car and drove away.

Carmen was hurt, he watched her cry but did nothing. He stood and watched her wipe her own tears away. He stood and watched her leave.

Noah didn't know what he felt. He didn't know if the pain he felt was because she was in pain or the feeling of his love for her slowly fading away.

Carmen's POV:

"Carmen!". A female called from behind her, she sighed silently as she wasn't quite in a bright mood but then again, was she ever?.

"Yes, Quia?". Said Carmen.

"You don't look good. Are you feeling well?". Quia asked, a pretensions expression of worry played on her face.

"I feel fine ". Carmen said defensively.

Quia stood, not saying a word. She looked at Carmen as though she were a piece of dirt. "Did you need something?". Carmen asked as she was growing impatient.

"No nothing at all". Quia smirked. "I heard that Noah's back in town though".

"Yeah. Why do you care though?". Carmen said tiredly.

"Does he know?". Quia asked, a mischievous smile has grown on her face.

"Know what?".

Quia laughed. "The false rumor you spread about him".

Carmen was frozen. Her breathing became forced and her vision became shaky. How could Quia possible know?, no one knew. She felt tears gather in her eyes but she knew she needed to stay strong.

"It wasn't a lie". Was what Carmen said.

"It wasn't?". Quia asked sarcastically. "Carmen, you can't lie to me. I know what you did, I know about the job, your anger towards your best friend that left you and I know about your dad too. You're a bastard child , aren't you?".

Carmen couldn't hold back the tears any longer. She held her chest as breathing became harder for her. "Please Quia, please. You don't understand, please don't tell him what I said. Don't tell anyone about it please". She cried.

"Oh darling, I was never going to. Now get up and stop embarrassing yourself. People are watching". With that she turned and left, leaving a more broken Carmen in her pool of tears.

"Carmen?". She heard Olivia say softly. "What happened?".

"P-panic attack....I-I'm so sorry". Carmen whimpered.

"Don't apologize. Let me take you to the nurse".

"Okay".
