"Ty!" I call to him. I can see the huge truck packed with boxes.
Ty turns to look at me.
"April! I'm sorry." He says crestfallen.
"I don't want to you to go." I say, running up to him.
I hugged him tight.
"I'll miss you, I don't wanna go to 4th grade without you." I mutter.
I start to feel my eyes water.
"Ty! We have to go!" I hear his mom yell.
"Well, you heard my mom." Ty hangs his head.
"Still friends?" I asked him.
"Forever?" He asks, replying.
"Ty!" his mom calls.
"Friends forever." We say together.
We hug each other one last time. I won't forget him.
I hope I don't anyway...
He runs off to his mom. She says something to him, but I can't understand them.
He looks at me one more time, and mouths, remember.
I turn away. I was sad.
He was the only person I could relate to, and now he's gone.
But before he left, yesterday, he gave me something.
It was a necklace.
It read, 'something to remember me by.' -T.E.
I'll try my hardest.
